North Korean girls do not marry early, and most girls marry after the age of twenty-five. Unlike Russian girls who tend to get fat after marriage, North Korean girls are still very slim after marriage. The young mothers I met on the streets of Pyongyang were slim.
North Korean girls have good skin, and after they get married, they still look young and beautiful. North Korean men rarely carry children, hold children on the streets, or mostly women hold children. Because of the encouragement of childbearing, North Korean girls often have several children after marriage. North Korean women have children, do not have too much concern, do not have to worry about not being able to raise children. North Korean children do not need money to go to school, and when children grow up and get married, they can apply to the state for housing.
In the past, on the streets of Pyongyang, young mothers with children used bicycles, they put their children on the basket of the bicycle, and some mothers would carry the child with a carrier. Now mothers with children on the streets of Pyongyang are also keeping pace with the times, and many use strollers. On the streets of Pyongyang, not only young mothers push their children with strollers, but also many grandparents can be seen pushing children. After the elderly in North Korea retire, it is common to help with children. Because in North Korea, many families are dual-career families, and parents don't have much time to bring their children, and grandparents help bring them.
On the streets of Pyongyang, you can also see three- and four-year-old children sitting on children's electric cars, which are only purchased by rich families, and north Korean children generally go to kindergarten at the age of four or five. Walking on the streets of Pyongyang in the morning, you can see many young mothers holding the hands of their children, who send their children to kindergartens and go to work on their own. After north Korean children go to elementary school, they basically go to and from school independently and do not need to be picked up and dropped off by adults.
Young mothers in North Korea have good personalities and are very patient. On the streets of Pyongyang, you can often see a family of four, or a family of three strolling through the streets. In our opinion, their living materials may not be abundant, but for them, life is simple and happy.
