"After listening to the teacher's lecture today, I learned a lot of legal knowledge, and I can be of great use in carrying out work in the village in the future," said Li Meiju, chairman of the Xinnan Village Women's Federation in Pucheng Street, Weidong District, who just finished the training course.

On December 6, the Women's Federation of Weidong District of Pingdingshan City held the first rural "Understanding the Law of Women" training course, which was attended by more than 50 people from the chairmen of the women's federations of various streets and villages and the leaders of the "four groups and one team" rights and interests group.

At the training class, Zhu Yan, member of the Pingdingshan Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, arbitrator of the Pingdingshan Arbitration Commission, part-time vice chairman of the Weidong District Women's Federation, and lawyer of Henan Wuhua Law Firm, combined vivid language and real and vivid examples to explain the knowledge of laws and regulations such as the Civil Code, the protection of women's rights and interests, marriage and family, and answered legal problems encountered by everyone in work and life, and the atmosphere was warm.

"It is hoped that through the cultivation of 'people who understand the law of the women', more rural women will establish the concept of the legal system, know the law, understand the law, abide by the law, and use the law, guide rural women to participate in political affairs, village affairs, and social affairs according to law, and contribute to the revitalization of the countryside in our region." Wei Youmei, chairman of the Weidong District Women's Federation, said.

In the next step, the women's federations of all neighborhoods in the district will combine the actual conditions of rural production and life, adopt flexible and diverse methods such as centralized training, on-site observation, and network education, and train the "people who understand the law" and their backbones in all villages, so as to improve their ability and level of using rule of law thinking and rule of law methods to solve practical problems.
