To transform an interesting revolver, choosing a revolver as the base is a key issue. The top of the weapon needs to be equipped with a guide rail, but also to mount a sci-fi handguard, it is inevitable that too short a revolver can not be selected. After consideration and observation, the makers chose the Ruger GP100 and a runner overhead rail manufactured for it by a third-party manufacturer.
In order to make the barrel part look more sci-fi, the makers wanted to install some handguards used in modern weapons on the front of the barrel of the weapon. Considering the shape of the weapon, the makers chose a third-party handguard used by the shortsword submachine gun as its decoration.
Of course, the handguard of the shortsword submachine gun was not perfect, and the makers wanted to install a rangefinder on the handguard to add some electronic feeling to the revolver. Therefore, the manufacturer cut the handguard and cut a hole under the handguard for mounting the rangefinder.
The mounting method of the rangefinder does not look strong, and the manufacturer punches a screw hole in a piece of metal and uses screws to mount the rangefinder on the metal sheet. A cut in the short sword handguard was then used to secure a metal sheet with a rangefinder mounted to the weapon. This fixation method is difficult to ensure accuracy and the force is uneven. It is very likely to fall off.
For the choice of weapon top sights, the makers believe that in space, live ammunition weapons may be more lethal than when they are on Earth. If a cowboy were using a revolver in space, the shooter would need to observe a much farther target (a pure work of art, not the same as a real space war, and the maker didn't know anything about actual space combat). The makers therefore used the Scout Riflescope 2-7x32mm variable magnification sight as a sight on the top of the weapon. In addition, in order to make the wheel look more cowboy-style, the makers also placed an ammunition carrier on the side of the weapon.
Although these collocations and designs are not scientific on the revolver, after installation, the weapons appear to be extremely coordinated and beautiful. If you simply appreciate it as a work of art, I think it is still a very interesting work.
