Wuwei, New Gansu, December 4 (New Gansu Gansu Daily reporter Jin Fengqian) This morning, the first ceremony of the China-Europe express train "Tianma" Wuwei South to Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, was held in Wuwei City.
It is understood that the train is mainly equipped with mechanical equipment, auto parts and other materials, a total of 50 containers, the cargo weight of about 644 tons, the value of about 22.03 million yuan. The train departs via Khorgos and passes through the kazakh ports of Aktau, the Caspian Sea and Baku in Azerbaijan, and is expected to reach Tbilisi in 10 days.

On April 15 this year, Gansu Wuwei Bonded Logistics Center signed a framework cooperation agreement with the Georgia Partnership Foundation, confirming the establishment of overseas warehouses and export product distribution centers to carry out international trade, and opening the Wuwei-Georgia-Europe international freight train. After active efforts from all sides, today's China-Europe express train "Tianma" Wuwei South to Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, cross-border sea-rail intermodal international freight train debuted, marking the official launch of the overseas bonded warehouse set up by Wuwei Bonded Logistics Center in Georgia, opening up a new cross-border rail-sea intermodal transport channel for Cross-border Rail-Sea Intermodal Transport of China-Europe Express Trains across the Caspian Sea and the Black Sea in our province, which will certainly be of great significance to promoting Wuwei and even the whole province to accelerate the formation of a new pattern of opening up that takes into account both internal and external aspects, land-sea linkage, westward-oriented, and multi-directional.
