Recently, the British Kirin Spirits Group announced a new pioneering plan: the fusion of high-quality liquor from the 1573 National Treasure Cellar Pond group in Luzhou Old Cellar with The Scottish Single Malt Whisky, aged in Chinese Changbai Mountain Mongolian Oak Barrels after secondary maturity, to launch Kylin DS Chinese whisky flavored wines for the global market.

Luzhou Old Cellar will provide the British Qilin Spirits Group with the national treasure grade original wine brewed by the 1573 National Treasure Cellar Pond Group, which originated from the Ming Dynasty Wanli Period in 1573 AD and has been continuously produced to the present, as an important base wine for Kylin DS.

The british Qilin Spirits Group was inspired by the Ming Dynasty Kirin wine warmer excavated in Luzhou in 1986.

Kylin DS Chinese Whiskey Flavoured Wines will be produced in small batches, bringing together the excellence of legendary Eastern and Western winemakers Max McFarlane and Shen Caihong.

Together, they face a double challenge: not only the perfect blend of the majestic Scottish single malt whisky and the ancient 1573 National Treasure Cellar Pool Baijiu in the palate; but also the fierce collision of mixed fermentation.

Kylin DS's mission is not only to bring Chinese liquor and Chinese whisky to the world, but also to promote deeper cultural exchanges, committed to long-term cooperation between the two representative winemaking processes of the East and the West, and to build an international commercial wine brand.

Kylin DS Chinese Whiskey Flavoured Wine is expected to debut in London in spring 2022, and angel users will receive some special products. Another new Chinese liquor product is also under development and will soon be officially launched in the global market.
