author:Waking up when laughing in a dream is sad

Yongmao Mausoleum was the palace of Emperor Zhao Kuo of SongNing, located in the tea farm of Paikou Village, Gaobu Town, 17 kilometers southeast of present-day Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province, with the Upper Palace, lower palace and underground palace. The tomb was excavated by thieves such as Yang Lian Zhenjia during the Yuan Dynasty.

Emperor Ningzong of Song was the twelfth emperor of the Song Dynasty, the fourth emperor of the Southern Song Dynasty, and the second son of Emperor Guangzong of Song and Empress Li.

Qiandao was born on October 19, 1168 (November 19, 1168), in the residence of Prince Gong. Legend has it that Empress Li, Emperor Ningzong's mother, dreamed of a large sun falling into the courtyard and took it with her hands, thus becoming pregnant. Until the night of Ningzong's birth, xiangguang circled the room.

In may of the fifth year of Qiandao (1169), he was given the name Zhao Kuo. In October of the fifth year of Chunxi (1178), he was awarded the title of Mingzhou Observer, the Duke of England, the King of Pingyang County in March of the twelfth year (1185), and the King of Jia in March of the sixteenth year (1189). Shao Xi was crown prince in the fifth year (1194) and soon succeeded to the throne. When Emperor Ningzong of Song succeeded to the throne, his father Song Guangzong was still alive and changed his name to Emperor Taishang, nominally giving the throne to Emperor Ningzong of Song, but in fact, Zhao Ruyu, Zhao Yanyue, Ye Shi, Xu Yi and other courtiers forced Song Guangzong to abdicate the throne on the grounds that Song Guangzong could not carry out the funeral, and through the foreign relative Han Nongxuan, he contacted him and obtained the support of Empress Wu of Gaozong.

In June of the fifth year of Shaoxi (1194), Emperor Xiaozong died, but Emperor Guangzong refused to preside over the funeral on the grounds of illness. The ministers had no choice but to ask Empress Dowager Wu to perform the ceremony in place of Emperor Guangzong. The chancellor also played Guangzong and said, "Crown Prince Jiawangkuo, who has always been kind and filial, should be established on the throne to calm people's hearts." Emperor Guangzong immediately gave instructions: "After a long time, I want to retire." During the ceremony, Zhao Ruyu and other civil and military officials asked Empress Dowager Wu to declare the throne of Emperor Guangzong in front of Emperor Xiaozong's coffin, and Empress Dowager Wu read out: "The emperor was ill, failed to mourn, had a royal pen, and wanted to retire himself. ”

After Zhao Ruyu came out, he told Emperor Ningzong what the empress dowager meant. Emperor Ningzong resolutely resigned, "I am afraid that I will bear the charge of filial piety." Zhao Ruyu said: "The Son of Heaven should take stability and social welfare and filial piety to the country, but now the imperial court is worried and afraid of chaos, in case of unexpected changes, where will the Emperor be placed?" The ministers only then hugged Zhao Kuo out of the crowd, but Zhao Kuo resigned, saying, "Tell the big mother, the minister can't do it, can't do it." Empress Dowager Wu immediately ordered the eunuch to say, "Go get the yellow robe, and I will put it on for him myself." Zhao Ruyu immediately led the civil and military officials to kneel and pray, and shouted long live. Zhao Kuo ascended the throne, and was known as Emperor Ningzong.

On September 18, 1224, emperor Ningzong of Jiading died in the Funing Hall in Lin'an Palace, reigned for 30 years, at the age of 57, and was buried in the Tomb of Yongmao. In the third year of Emperor Lizong's reign (1227), he was given the title of Emperor Gongxiao of the Fa Tianbei Dao Chun De Mao Gong Ren Ren Wen Zhe Wu ShengRui GongXiao.

In the seventeenth year of Jiading (1224), in august of the leap month, Emperor Ningzong of Song died. In the winter of that year, the newly enthroned Emperor Lizong ordered yang Huawei, a servant of the imperial household, to visit the tomb of Emperor Ningzong. After investigation, Yang Hua finally chose the area around Taining Temple as a treasure land for feng shui.

Therefore, nearly 30 miles around Taining Temple was assigned to the mausoleum area, and it was forbidden to cut trees to open mountains and relocate villages. Taining Temple as a whole was relocated to the southern foothills of The White Deer Mountain. Emperor Lizong moved the Taining Temple, built the mausoleum of Emperor Ningzong, temporarily placed the Palace of Emperor Ningzong here, and ordered the name of the mausoleum to be "Yongmao".

After the fall of the Southern Song Dynasty, Yang Lianzhenjia, the head of the Jiangnan Sect, colluded with a group of monks near the Song Liuling Tombs to drive into the Song Tombs in Shaoxing, forced the tomb keeper Luo Qiao to leave with a knife, and then launched a tomb robbery operation. [1] The thieves first excavated the four tombs of Emperor Ningzong, Emperor Lizong, Emperor Duzong, and Yang Hou. Yongmao Mausoleum is naturally doomed.

After the establishment of the Ming Dynasty, Zhu Yuanzhang sent people to repair the tombs of the emperors of the Southern Song Dynasty and sent special guards to guard them. In the middle and late Ming Dynasty and beyond, the mausoleum gradually became deserted and dilapidated.

After the founding of the People's Republic of China, the cultural relics protection department collected the remnants of The Yongmao Mausoleum of Emperor Ningzong of Song from a peasant's home in Paikou Village, Gaobu Town, Yuecheng District.

Today, the mausoleum area has been reclaimed into a tea garden, and the ground building has long ceased to exist.
