In 1956, Nanjing Normal University (the predecessor of Nanjing Normal University) was eager to expand some literature. Sun Wang, then head of the Department of Chinese, and Dean Chen Heqin attended the work conference held by the Ministry of Education. In the more than 20 days of the meeting in Beijing, as soon as he had free time, Sun Wang ran to the Liuli Factory, running 12 times back and forth.
After dinner on April 12, Sun Wang came to liuli factory again. This time, his dream came true and he met a national treasure that moved him: 3 Dunhuang scripture scrolls. So, excitedly bought back.
Soon, this scripture scroll with the "anti-heavenly god face" was involved in a storm of truth and falsehood.
The treasures of Dunhuang are scattered in the ends of the world, is this really a "pearl left in the sea"? The permanent couple, Hu Xiaoshi... After a group of experts and scholars have identified it, they believe that it is genuine. But many scholars have expressed skepticism, because the scroll is "too new" to be completely unstained. They suspect that it will not be written recently, right?

Until 1999, this storm ended with Huang Zheng, an expert in Dunhuang studies. "Mr. Huang Zheng came to Nan Normal University as a visiting professor and saw this scripture scroll. He thinks it's true. In order to prove this, he found a volume in the Dunhuang literature published by the British Museum, only 50 centimeters, which is exactly in line with the missing part of our 7.55-meter volume 01 " Rulai Solemn Wisdom and Light into All Buddhist Realm Sutra Scrolls " , and the text content, calligraphy style, line height, format size and all other characteristics are completely consistent. That is to say, this is the same scripture, just falling off into two paragraphs. Hu Bin said that the Dunhuang scripture scrolls of the British Museum were taken directly from the Dunhuang Scripture Cave, and there is no doubt about their authenticity.
This also means that the Dunhuang scripture scroll bought back by Mr. Sun Wang is genuine, and it is longer and more complete than the British Museum.

Hu Bin said that the collection of ancient books collected by Nanjing Normal University has many sources. Central University, Jinling University, Jinling Women's University, Nanjing Higher Normal School..." Wuxi Guozhuo, formerly known as Wuxi Guoxue College, was founded in the foothills of Wuxi Huishan in the winter of 1920, which is the cradle of the elite of Sinology. Qian Zhongshu's father, Qian Jibo, was the director of the school, and the famous scholar Zhang Taiyan once went to Wuxi National College to give lectures, and Feng Qiyong, Qian Zhonglian, Qian Weichang, Chen Zhongfan and other well-known scholars studied here.

The Department of Ancient Books and Special Collections of Nan normal University also treasures a wealth of Republic of China documents. They are strictly classified and stored on bookshelves and cabinets.
Among the many Republic of China documents, you will encounter very interesting books. A huge dictionary of trademarks, open, you can see the systematic sorting out of the Republic of China period in Asia in the Asian region of many of the world's well-known trademarks, such as: Mitsubishi and so on, there are.

"The paper has turned black, and the color of the seal on it is still red, but we don't dare to touch it more, only dare to lift it flat, put it flat, and even dare not move laterally." Hu Bin said that the past inheritance, whether it is things, spirits, or memories, will fade and pass with time. Today, these voluminous volumes of special collection documents are basically well preserved in the Department of Ancient Books and Special Collections.
