Liu Bei and Cao Cao met when they were in Chang'an City? Is this a joke? If it was not Chen Gong but Liu Bei who followed Cao Cao out of Chang'an City, then was it Liu Bei or Chen Gong who committed the crime at Lü Bo's luxury village?
First of all, we should clarify one point: although Chen Gong in the Three Kingdoms historical materials is not a good person, the bloody case on Lü Bo's luxury village really has nothing to do with him--when Chen Gong defected to Cao Cao, it was already the third year of Chuping (192), and Cao Cao escaped from Chang'an City, which was the sixth year of The Han Ling Emperor Zhongping (in 189, although the Ling Emperor died, the year number remained unchanged).
The reason why Cao Cao was able to take Yanzhou as a base in the third year of Chuping was that Chen Gong made a contribution.
In the third year of Emperor Chuping of the Han Dynasty, a million Yellow Turban troops attacked Yanzhou, and Yanzhou's assassin Shi Liu Bei did not listen to the advice of Bao Xin, the minister of Jibei, and had to be outnumbered, and as a result, he was killed as soon as he went to war.
When Liu Dai hung up, Chen Gong jumped out to persuade Cao Cao to take over Yanzhou, and did a lot of persuasion work for Cao Cao: "Dai did not obey, so he fought with it, and the result was killed." When Dai died, Chen Gong said to Taizu: "The state has no master, and the king's life is severed, and the palace please say that in the state, the Ming government is looking for Muzhi, and the capital is to collect the world, and the inheritance of this overlord is also." Zhang Mi and Chen Gong rebelled against Yanzhou and sneaked in to meet Lü Bu. ”
In this comparison, we know that when Cao Cao killed Lü Bohao's family, Chen Gong did not know Cao Cao; five years after Cao Cao killed Lü Bohao's family, Chen Gong defected from Cao Ying. The so-called Chen Gong listened to Cao Cao say, "I'd rather teach me to bear the people of the world, and teach the people of the world to bear me", which abandoned Cao Cao, which is pure fiction.
Chen Gong did not follow Cao Cao to escape from Chang'an City, and the one who really followed Cao Cao all the way was Liu Bei Liu Xuande, who we thought it would never be possible to join Cao Cao!
Before liu bei escaped from Chang'an City with Cao Cao, we must first understand one person, that person is the head of the seven sons of Jian'an, the grandson of Wang Chang of the Great Sikong, the son of the great general He Jinchang Shi Wang Qian, and the son of Cao Wei's attendant Wang Cang.

The Han Dynasty also sought to buy officials from time to time, and Liu Bei entered Beijing to seek promotion, and it was not surprising that he was unlucky to meet Dong Zhuobajingshi. Liu Bei also likes to play around, and it is even more natural to see Cao Cao and hate each other.
If it was Liu Bei who escaped from Chang'an with Cao Cao, then what happened next is well explained: the chaotic world at the end of the Han Dynasty, countless heroes, Cao Cao has a special love for Liu Bei.
Cao Cao was incredibly kind to Liu Bei: "The first lord was defeated and returned to Cao Gong. Cao Gong met him well and thought that he was a pastor of Yuzhou. He will harvest the scattered pawns, give them food for the army, and benefit the soldiers to attack the east. Dispatch gao shun to attack it, and Cao Gong sent Xiahou Huan to the place, but could not be saved, and was defeated by Shun, and restored the wife of the first lord to send cloth. Cao Gong went out on a crusade to help the first lord to surround the cloth in xia pi and raw poultry cloth. The first lord regained his wife, and returned the promise from Cao Gong. The first lord of the table is the general of the left, and the more the ceremony is heavier, the more the public opinion is out, and the seat is the same seat. ”
In order to help Liu Bei regain his territory and family, Cao Cao sent troops to send grain, Xiahou Huan lost an eye to save Liu Bei, and Cao Cao actually went out on his own horse, killed Lü Bu, and recaptured Liu Bei's wife.
Readers all know that in the chaotic world at the end of the Han Dynasty, there were only eternal interests and no eternal friends, Liu Bei was repeatedly defeated in battles, and there was not much use value, but Cao Cao tirelessly helped Liu Bei clean up the mess again and again - Liu Bei's performance was not outstanding at that time, why did Cao Cao invest in such a "can't help his father"?
If we think about it, we can only think of one thing - the massacre at Lü Bo's luxury village in the sixth year of Zhongping was jointly done by Liu Bei and Cao Cao: "Taizu passed the Bo luxury." Bo luxury travel, the five sons are there, ready to be the guest officiation. Taizu thought that he had betrayed his life, suspected himself, and killed eight people in the night with his sword. ”
According to Wang Cang's records, Liu Bei had been running with Cao Cao back to Peiguo County, that is to say, when Cao Cao went to Lü Bohao's house to replenish his supplies, Liu Bei was next to him!
"Three Kingdoms Zhiping Dialect" and "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" are both honoring Liu Liu and degrading Cao, of course, it will not be written that Liu Bei and Cao Cao joined forces to commit crimes, but Luo Guanzhong also made up a story in the novel that "Liu An killed his wife and prepared", which is to imply that Liu Bei also has a share in making a living as a guest.
Cao Cao regarded Liu Bei as the number one fierce enemy, but no matter how the strategists persuaded him, Cao Cao refused to kill Liu Bei, and his reason for protecting Liu Bei was different every time, which could not but make us wonder: How could Cao Cao's decisive character be confused to the point of raising tigers?
Thinking about it, we can only say that the relationship between Cao Cao and Liu Bei is not ordinary iron, and Liu Bei has always had a grateful heart for Cao Cao, Jian'an died of illness in the twenty-fifth year of Cao Cao, and Liu Bei, who had just lost Jingzhou and Guan Yu, in the midst of grief, still sent an emissary to express his final condolences to this old friend: "Prepare for Cao Gongxue, send Han Ran to hang the book, and give gifts." ”
The relationship between Liu Bei and Cao Cao is such that it is cut and chaotic, "the heroes of the world only make the king and the ear", which is also Cao Cao's heartfelt words. As for whether Liu Bei was involved in the Lüjiazhuang massacre, it does not seem to matter when he met Cao Cao, but as the two most influential of the Three Kingdoms, they have killed each other for decades, and we can't help but be fascinated: the hero of the world who is the enemy, Cao Liu!
