Think about it, in this impetuous era, dreaming of this thing seems to be far away from us, we like to hang "living in the moment" on our lips, busy with "knowledge anxiety", busy with "getting by and getting by". And the "dream" thing, busy busy to forget.
Some people will even question, what is the use of dreams? It can't eat or drink, without it life is still the same, why must it be?
I want to answer that question with a movie.
On October 7, a movie with extremely low attention and no Rating on Douban, "Running Teenager", quietly landed on Tencent Video.
This movie has no well-known actors on camera, nor is there much gorgeous marketing hype, only an ocean-like yellow sand, and a dream flower blooming in the yellow sand.
The film is based on a true story from Kavac Township, Moyu County, Xinjiang in 2006.
If I had to sum up this place in one word, it would be: poor.
If you use two words to sum up this place, it is: yellow sand.

Most families here can only rely on the sky to eat, and their annual income is only a thousand yuan. Their children can only wear shoes with several holes, or plastic slippers to school, and at most they will drop out of school to work as farmers after junior high school.
But a football that the teacher, Palhati, accidentally picked up on the road, brought a dream to the children - to play football.
They formed their own team, the Dream Team. Faced with the dilemma of small space, lack of equipment and even obstruction by parents and principals, this team has never given up on their dreams:
School playground small? Then train on dusty sand; no training equipment? Then practice kicking and bouncing on bricks; can't buy a training pole? Then use branches instead of training rods to practice winding around the pile; no field can practice shooting skills? Then train the inverted shot in the river beach.?
In order to protect the sneakers and avoid kicking the sneakers during the usual practice, many children simply kick the ball barefoot and put the shoes aside.
The natural conditions in the Kavak region are very poor, and the sun goes down late, resulting in high temperature during the day and very hot ground. Children who practice barefoot do not dare to step on the ground in order not to make their feet blister.
Some children have swollen kicks, some children have broken their legs, and some children have even broken their ankles.
By what means to persevere? Probably, there are only dreams.
In August 2011, Palhati took his children on a more than 30-hour train ride to Urumqi to play a match, starting their first football match.
Under the blessing of accumulated training and dreams, this barefoot team from the remote countryside won the opponent with an absolute advantage of 4:0, and has been hanging all the way since then.
In April 2016, "Dream Team", with the strong support of former Beijing Guoan player Gao Leilei, went to Barcelona, Spain for a month of training;
In August 2017, "Dream Team" won the U9 group championship at the "Peace Cup" International Youth Football Invitational Tournament in Shenyang, Liaoning Province;
In August 2019, he won the U11 group championship at the 5th Yunnan "Plateau Cup" National Youth Football Invitational Tournament.
If it weren't for that sparkling dream, it would probably not have reached this height.
"What they gain from football is not only happiness, but also self-confidence, unity, hard-working, but also the courage to dream boldly, and the perseverance to work hard step by step."
I think this is also the value of the existence of dreams, it makes your life full of meaning, it spurs you to achieve yourself, and it also makes you feel happy.
