On the 23rd local time, aerial photographs of the volcano on the island of La Palma in Spain showed that in recent days, the eruption of the volcano formed a new lava delta, and produced a third stream of magma flowing to the sea, raising a large amount of smoke.

Fearing that the smoke could contain toxic gases, the local government has asked about 3,000 residents in the coastal area to stay at home and not go out.

The old Quembré volcano on the Spanish island of La Palma has erupted for 9 weeks and still shows no signs of stopping.
