The C9X9 is the product code of COMAC and now the most successful is the C919, with 5 deliveries. C919 is a familiar "domestic large aircraft", which is roughly the same as the A320 and 737, but the weight of the empty aircraft is already relatively large.          

The C9X9 series has also been developed with the C929, which is a larger aircraft. Media reports say that the C929 can fly 12,000 kilometers and carry about 280 passengers, competing with the Boeing 787 or Airbus A350. This aircraft was originally intended to be developed in cooperation with Russia and was called CR929, but Russia did not withdraw sincerely, so it is now called C929.

Because the Boeing 747 and the Airbus A380 are now discontinued. Although the 4-engine large passenger aircraft costs fuel, there is still a demand, and there is not necessarily a market at all.          

A few days ago, the content of C949 also appeared in a certain network media, and a long-term friend raised a very interesting question to Mr. La, that is, the mainland's aircraft research and development speed is so fast, and the plan is so long-term, if C959 and C969 are put on the agenda, what should I do if the number is used up after C999?          

In fact, you don't have to worry about this, the decimal system is not the only way for humans to count, for example, there is also "hexadecimal". After the C999 is used, you can also use C9A9, C9B9, C9C9, C9D9, C9E9 and C9F9. You can even use all 26 English letters directly, all the way up to C9Z9. If the development continues, the C9Z9 should be able to fit a lot of people, fly very far, and the engine is estimated to be installed with a lot of ......              

Or you can also use traditional Chinese characters, such as C99A, C99B, C99C; Or you can add English letters after it, such as C999A, C999K, C999N...... Wait, there are still a lot of ways! Can an airplane be built so big that it can still be stumped by a small naming problem?          

If you are open-minded, there are more solutions. For example, there is no need to use "9" all the time, you can also use "8", anyway, Airbus uses 3, Boeing uses 7, and 8 is definitely bigger than them. After C999 is used up, C808 can also be engaged, C888 can also be, 8 is an auspicious number that Chinese like, more popular, market response should be better.

C stands for China because the English word for China is China. But after all, C is only the third in the English alphabet, if you open your mind, you can also use Z as the first letter of the aircraft model, after all, we are Chinese should pay more attention to Chinese, and should not use foreign language to name the aircraft. "Z" is the first letter of the Chinese pinyin "ZHONGGUO", so you can do Z808, Z919, until Z999, the space is suddenly doubled.

So you don't have to worry about the problem that there is no code available after the C999, Boeing has only held back 9 series for decades, and it is full of problems, and even the 797 can't be built - why are we in a hurry, aren't we?
