Carnegie Hall in New York will host the first hip-hop art session, "The Spirit of Legends," on Thursday, Nov. 18, at 8 p.m. New York time.
The street dance special "Condensed Elephant" is hosted by the street dance brand Takala Land founded by the NBA Nets cheerleading Chinese style choreographer LEE Ziyin, with UNIPX MEDIA brand management company as the partner. It is the first creative street dance art performance that collides with classical music culture with hip-hop culture as the core, and this event has also become a celebration of the 10th anniversary of street dance brand Takala Land. In addition to the performances of LEE Ziyin and the team, there were also special guest performers, including Michael Jackson's choreography teacher team, musician Liu Fang, and Bravo, the founder of American house dance.
The creative concept of this special session combines the spirit of oriental traditional martial arts with Western classical instruments and oriental ethnic traditional music as the performance background, integrates the overall creativity into the stage scene, reflects the diversified artistic expression methods, and brings a unique experience to the audience. The overall style of stage music and dance choreography takes the transmission of a better life attitude as the main purpose, and hopes to embody the concept of multicultural integration through the integration of multi-field cultures, and convey the beautiful belief and yearning for future life.
Another new idea of this street dance performance is to combine street dance movements with anime characters, character design according to the concepts of dance moves, real life and superpowers, etc., to create an anime superhero with street dance as the story background, hoping that "Condensation" will one day become a superpower of Chinese dancers, like the superheroes of Marvel Animation.
About Carnegie Hall
