Emperor Huizong of the Northern Song Dynasty posthumously honored Guan Yu as: "Duke Zhonghui"
Later, he was posthumously honored as Chongning Zhenjun (with reference to Erlang Zhenjun)
After four years, he was also crowned "King of Wu'an".
He was again crowned "King of Wu'an".
Southern Song Dynasty title:
Emperor Gaozong of the Southern Song Dynasty crowned Guan Yu as "King of Zhuangmiao Yiyong".
The Southern Song Dynasty xiaojun crowned Guan Yu as the "King of Yingji".
Yuan Dynasty Title:
Emperor Yuan Tai posthumously awarded Guan Yu the title of King of Wu'an Yingji

Ming dynasty:
Zhu Yuanzhang restored Guan Yu to the title of "Marquis of Hanshouting".
Emperor Mingwu gave the Temple of The Guandi emperor in Nanjing the title of "Zhongwu"
Emperor Ming called Guan Yu the "Marquis of Shouting, Emperor Of Hanguan".
Emperor Mingshen added Guan Yu to the title of "Emperor Voldemort of the Three Realms, Emperor Weiyuan of the Divine Realm."
Qing Dynasty:
Kangxi honored Guan Yu as a "master" and a confucius.
Yongzheng added Guan Yu to the title of "Three Generations of Dukes".
Qianlong changed Guan Yu to "Zhongyi God Martial Spirit Blessing Guan Sheng The Great".
Jiaqing sealed: "Ren Yong" two words.
At this point, Guan Yu's full title was: "Zhongyi God Martial Spirit Youren Yongwei Xianguan Sheng Emperor".
2. Yue Fei
Emperor Ningzong of Song posthumously honored him as "King of Ewumu"
Emperor Lizong of Song changed his name to "King Ezhongwu"
Until the Ming Dynasty Wanli Emperor was posthumously awarded the title of "Three Realms Jing Demon Emperor Zhongxiao Miaofa Tianzun Yue Shengjun."
