Global warming has led to the emergence of tropical fish off the coast of South Korea

According to South Korean media reports, with global warming, the temperature of the sea around South Korea has risen rapidly, and tropical fish and subtropical fish that originally lived in Southeast Asia are not uncommon in South Korean waters. On Mundo Island, near Seogwipo Port on Jeju Island, red soft corals, black and yellow spiny fish, and blue flat seabream can be seen everywhere. Compared with the 1990s, more than 40% of the fish in Jeju's waters have changed, and South Korea's marine ecology is undergoing dramatic changes.
