Because my mini parrot fish are still mostly small fry, and have been kept indoors, the indoor heat preservation is relatively good, so they are still in the 16 to 18 degrees water temperature range, in this range, these mini parrot fish small fry can still be relatively normal feeding, in the state does not have any change or symptoms of swimming weakness.
There are also two adult parrot fish in the same fish tank, first of all, their estrus phenomenon immediately stopped, there is a slight difference in feeding desire, basically can be regarded as normal feeding.
There are still many peacock fish in the old Uncle Zou's home, the water temperature is about 15 degrees, in general, the appetite of the small fry is ok, they can eat normally, and there are many small fry that have just been born for a few days, because they are born in a low temperature environment, so there is no abnormality with it, if in normal times, such a small fry, it is estimated that the probability of survival should be very small.
The big fish of the peacock fish has a swimming posture that is not too normal, and it looks slightly shaken, and the appetite has decreased, but it has not appeared any disease, and it may also have something to do with age or tail size.
The overall state of the small seabream and tiger skin fish is still relatively OK, at least there is no swimming weakness or shaking east and west, but there is a big problem.
That is, the appetite of the small seabream has dropped significantly, and the amount of fish feed that can be fed three times before can now be fed once, which means that the appetite has been greatly reduced, and all the cleaners have also appeared the same phenomenon, basically not eating much.
The water temperature in this fish tank has also reached 15 degrees.
Although the tiger skin fish also swam in groups or occasionally played and frolicked as usual, one of them counted as one, and all of them began to go on a collective hunger strike.
That is to say, for two or three consecutive days, every time I fed fish feed to the fish tank, I did not find a tiger skin fish coming to the surface of the fish tank or picking up fish feed at the bottom of the water, and it seemed that there was no appetite at all, and even the scavenger could not catch up.
In addition, in the goldfish tank of Uncle Zou, there are still a few small swallow fish and three crippled colorful fairy fish, although the seven colors have not appeared in the face of the wall, black body and white hair, white spots, but have begun to go on hunger strike, and tiger skin fish have a fight.
And the same three small swallow fish, there is still a little appetite, but also able to take the initiative to eat a little bit of ice fish worms, in the state there is no excessive slow swimming or lazy swimming phenomenon, there is no left and right swing, white hair, white spots and other diseases, in terms of vitality is better than the colorful.
This fish tank is currently measuring 15 degrees this morning, and the temperature may be lowered at night, because it is in the indoor hall, and the sun can be seen during the day, and the temperature may be slightly higher at noon.
At present, these tanks of continuous low-temperature tropical fish are temporarily such a situation, in fact, the situation is not very optimistic, so we are considering moving some fish, and other colorful fish have already entered the greenhouse to heat up.
There have always been many aquarists who always like to ask fish farmers, how low can the small tropical fish they raise to reach the minimum temperature tolerance?
Fish farming experience, for the vast majority of tropical fish, may be 15 degrees is already a hurdle, perhaps for their feeding temperature is very likely to be a little lower, but in this low-temperature feeding environment, if even eating has lost the effective guarantee, what is the point of raising them?
Long-term low temperature raising tropical fish, will definitely bring great harm, even if we can not see any problems for the time being, it is because we are in the summer or autumn, feeding is better, ornamental fish physique is relatively strong, so it has not yet become ill, and then it is a long-term low temperature, the speed of its own bacterial reproduction will also be greatly slowed down, so we did not find a problem.
Even if our temperature is not lowered, it is not necessarily a good thing, all the ornamental fish are just here to survive, and once the water temperature continues to be low, they may face the risk of direct worship.
Assuming that the water temperature has been constant in its current state, it may be that many ornamental fish will finish playing over time. The first to die may be species that are no longer eaten, such as colorful angelfish and tiger skin fish, and then it may be the turn of swallow fish and mini parrot fish, and finally the peacock fish may not be safe.
Even if they can survive fortunately, the fish farmer has long said that they will definitely begin to fall ill in the seasonal transition period next spring, because of the continuous low temperature and non-eating, the physique of the fish will definitely play eggs, once the temperature begins to rise next spring, they will encounter the abuse of various germs, the physique is finished, it is impossible to save the medicine.
If the temperature drops further in two days, my two tanks of mini parrot fish must definitely be heated, which I have to see their specific performance, maybe tomorrow will be installed with heating tubes.
And the three lakes and tiger skin fish, because they must pour out the fish tank as a trap water tank, so it may be moved to the indoor breeding of Uncle Zou's house tomorrow, two tanks of peacock fish currently seem to be not too big a problem, but Old Uncle Zou also said that the fish tank that is pouring indoors, including the scavenger of the outdoor goldfish tank, will also be moved indoors.
In the end, there may be only a few crippled colorful ones left, and they may be able to stay for a while, but we can't reach the most critical moment, let them freeze to death outside, or we must move them.
So fish farming veterans here advise all new aquarists, especially those who want to keep raising a variety of small tropical fish at low temperature, we had better ensure that they live at least 15 degrees of water temperature, so it is still relatively safe, this low temperature test I do not want to do anymore.
Because tropical fish are always tropical fish, there is no good living temperature, they will be in danger of life at any time.
