On the afternoon of November 15th, the launching ceremony of the theme volunteer week of "You donate rice for the birds, I build a grain house for the birds" was held in the lecture hall of the Gemdale Campus of Hunnan No. 1 School.
Although this is a natural disaster, the face of the disaster can show the love and dedication of the whole society, and it is also the best opportunity for moral education for young people. Therefore, the Hunnan First School Young Pioneers and the Shenyang Wildlife Conservation Association jointly launched this activity, aiming to let students explore the survival status of birds after the blizzard, from the sadness, fear and struggle brought by natural disasters to human beings, to the friends of human beings - birds, and then generate sympathy and protection, and help the beautiful feelings and actions of birds.
First of all, Mr. Yang Xiaodan, counselor of the Young Pioneers of Hunnan No. 1 School, put forward the purpose and significance of this activity, and Zhang Ruihan from the Four-Year Ten Squadron read the proposal of "Loving Birds and Protecting Birds" on behalf of all the Young Pioneers of our school, and also showed the propaganda posters made by the students themselves and the grain house built for the birds. Subsequently, Gao Zhenhe, president of Shenyang Wildlife Conservation Association, delivered a speech, encouraging students to actively participate in volunteer activities and teach them the knowledge of bird feeding, and finally the leader of the Forest Resources Monitoring Center presented the flag to the "Bird Love Bird Protection" volunteer service team of Hunnan First School.
After the launching ceremony, the "Bird Love bird protection" volunteer service team of Hunnan First School set off to the destination to feed the birds and build a food house.
In the neighborhood park, Wang Weiyan, vice president of the Municipal Wildlife Conservation Association, personally explained the types of birds in the city and the feeding methods and experiences for the students.
Under the infection of the volunteer service team of Hunnan First School, many people and passers-by in the jurisdiction also took the initiative to join the action of loving birds and protecting birds. It enables more people to understand the survival status of many wild animals and the importance of protecting wild animals, and further enhances the public's awareness of respecting nature, protecting nature, conforming to nature, and living in harmony with nature.
