In the exhibition hall of displaying cultural relics, we can see the cultural relics of the Yangshao and Longshan cultural periods, most of which were excavated from the Tianma site, and there are more than ten types of bronze, jade, gold and silver, pottery and so on from the material point of view. In addition to the cultural relics exhibition hall, the Jinguo Museum also has a unique exhibition hall, that is, the "Exhibition Hall of the History of Site Excavation".

Visitors to this "exhibition hall of the excavation history of the site" will have the illusion of entering the tunnel of time. The right side of the exhibition hall shows visitors the daily necessities and archaeological tools used by three generations of archaeologists, and the display panel on the left side of the exhibition hall details the decades-long excavation history of the Tianma site.

Since 1963, the first trial excavation conducted by the Archaeology Department of Peking University and the Shanxi Provincial Cultural Relics Work Committee began, until the continuous excavation of Chinese archaeologists in 1992, the entire excavation history lasted 29 years, during which a large number of residential sites, ash pits, cellars, princes and noble tombs were excavated, and the archaeological results caused a sensation at home and abroad.

In the whole museum, the most attractive is the jinhou mausoleum site, the entire mausoleum area is about 150 meters long and 130 meters wide, including a total of nineteen large tombs, according to the status of the owner of the tomb, these nineteen tombs are divided into nine groups. The era of the tomb owners spanned the eastern and western two weeks, and their identities ranged from the Marquis of Jin in the early Western Zhou Dynasty to the Marquis of Jin in the early Spring and Autumn Period. It is worth mentioning that the entire mausoleum area is divided into two parts, indoor part of the display of four groups of tombs and three carriage and horse pits for restorative display, outdoor part of the display of tombs and car and horse pits for iconic display.

Stepping into the exhibition hall of the site protection, the first thing that comes into sight is the magnificent Chema Pit, which is the funeral pit of Marquis Su of Jin and his wife. The pit is about 21 meters long and 14 meters wide, with a total area equivalent to a modern basketball court. This chema pit is the largest chema pit in the Western Zhou Dynasty, and it is old, six hundred years before the figurine pit of Qin Shi Huang. What is even more precious is that a total of 48 chariots and 100 horse bones have been excavated from the pits. Since these horses were all alive at the time of the burial, obvious signs of struggle can be seen from the posture of the horse bones.

In addition, archaeologists did not excavate the other two chema pits inside the exhibition hall, and the replicas placed on the chema pits were made by later generations. Due to the high degree of reproduction of these replicas, visitors can still understand the original appearance of chema pit through these replicas.

The number of tomb sites displayed in the museum is not only large, but also uses a very elaborate method in the display. Through clever placement and arrangement, the museum's staff creates the effect of "one tomb and one scene", and each tomb site can make visitors feel refreshed. Some tomb sites are displayed in a longitudinal façade, and some are flat, so that visitors can see different display contents at different levels, and the visiting effect will not be similar and repetitive.

Among all the tomb sites, the most ornamental is the tomb site of the seventh generation of princes of the Jin Dynasty, the Marquis xianhou of Jin. Next to the cemetery, the museum staff built a boardwalk parallel to the tomb road, on which visitors can clearly see the structure of the entire tomb. Similarly designed, there is also the tomb site of Lady Muhou of Jin, directly above this site, there is a glass boardwalk, visitors can more intuitively feel the structure of the tomb and the rich funerary products.

In the very center of this museum square, a huge stone archway is erected. From the appearance point of view, this archway is like three different fonts of "Jin" characters, the designer uses the three Jin characters as the main framework of the archway, and hanli's pen body brings great visual impact to the audience. Directly in front of the square, there is a modern sculpture called "Jin Soul", which is based on Jin Wengong and shows visitors the strong style of the Jin dynasty and the rejuvenation of the country. The reason why Jin Wengong is used as the prototype of the sculpture should be because Jin Wengong represents the most powerful period of the Jin Dynasty.

This sculpture is not only very representative of the museum landscape, but also the finishing touch of the entire museum. In addition, in the major exhibition halls, we can see dozens of high and low lights, from the surface of these lamps are placed in no order, but when the lights shine on the ground, they can form a seal "Jin" character. What is even more ingenious is that the sunken design of Museum Square gives people a visual experience like a huge seal inscription. The huge engraving seal firmly engraved the Jin culture on the land of Quwo and became part of the Quwo culture.
