Kong Xiangxi, born in 1880, was extremely influential in the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China, and made certain contributions to the reform of the currency system, supporting the peaceful settlement of the Xi'an Incident, and supporting the finances of the War of Resistance. However, Kong's use of power for personal gain and corruption have been repeatedly criticized by public opinion.
Kong came to Taiwan and died in 1967.

Later, he married Sheng Shengyi, but soon the relationship between the two broke down, and after liberation, Kong Lingkan transferred funds to live in the United States, and had no heirs in his life.
Kong Lingwei is the second daughter of Kong Xiangxi, born in 1919, known as Miss Kong Er. From a young age, he was born with a big back, or a suit and leather shoes, and a top hat; or a businessman dressed up, holding a folding fan, smoking a cigar, making people indistinguishable. Perhaps it is precisely because Kong Lingwei often dresses up as men, so that she has not found another half in her life, and after liberation, she settled in Taiwan.
Kong Lingjie, the youngest son of Kong Xiangxi, was born in 1921 and studied in Britain before becoming a diplomat. When he was a diplomat in the United States, he engaged in stock speculation in the United States, set up an oil company to do oil business and became an oil tycoon, and also established a cavalry construction company, with himself as the chairman of the board. According to a magazine in the United States, Kong Lingjie has more than 100 million US dollars in assets. He later married the American actress Debra Paget and had a son named Condequi.
Kong Deji, as the only descendant of the Kong family, was taken care of by the Kong family from an early age. Born in the United States, Kong deji directly has American citizenship and now manages the huge assets of the Kong family in Texas.
