As early as 2011, Oscar actress Harley Berry was the first choice; but "Black Pearl" knew that his singing skills could not restore the image of the song, so he chose to quit. Jennifer Hudson entered the film's attention in 2015, and now finally won this role, which is also approved by Aretha Franklin herself.
