Shen Zhen (1507–1557), courtesy name Chunfu , was a native of Lishui , Zhejiang. The "Change of Gengshu" in the twenty-ninth year of Jiajing (1550) made Shen Zhen thoroughly see the shameless face of Yan Song's corpse vegetarian meal, so the following year Shangben impeached Yan Song for ten major crimes, and pointed out that Yan Song's "greedy sexual disease was anointed, and his foolish heart was stubborn to iron stone." The white grass and yellow sand are stormy, and the unjust souls are looking for their heads." Yang Shun was furious, "Take the private Bai Shifan, practice fencing and shooting with the dead soldiers, and be unpredictable." At the behest of Yan Shifan, two other Song dangs soon framed Shen Jun for colluding with the White Lotus Sect to "go in and out of the desert north and vent his feelings" ("Ming Shi Shen Yu Biography"). In September of the thirty-sixth year of Jiajing (1557), Shen Yu was beheaded and paraded in public, two sons Shen Gong and Shen Zhen were killed by the staff, and another son, Shen Xiang, was sent to serve at the border pass.
Although Shen Yu died, the people of the world respected him. Mr. Yang Ming personally composed the "Epitaph of Shen Qingxia", and his friend Xu Wei expressed his admiration for Shen Junwen in "Worshiping Shen Junwen with The Friends of the Scholars", and his drama "Crazy Drum Official" ("Yin Scolding Cao") was composed with the feeling that Yan Song killed Shen Jun, and cao cao and You Heng at the end of the play mirrored Yan Song and Shen Jun. After Yan Song's downfall, his henchmen were also purged, and Shen's grievances were finally rehabilitated. In the early years of Longqing, Emperor Muzong issued an edict to reward those who spoke, gave Shen Guanglu Shaoqing, and appointed his son Shen Xiang as an official. In the early years of the Apocalypse, he gave Shen The title of Zhongzhen.
Shen Yu was only a minor official from the Seven Pins before his death, but he was revered for his loyalty, integrity, fearlessness, jealousy and hatred, and unity of knowledge and action, and the "History of Ming" was established for his biography, and Shen Yu's name was remembered in history.
