On 19 May 1985, Weng Meiling's funeral was held at the Kowloon World Funeral Home. The coffin was supported by friends Andy Lau, Liang Chaowei, Huang Rihua, Miao Qiaowei, Xiao Sheng, Li Tiansheng, Wu Runquan and He Jialian, and the ashes were placed in the Catholic cemetery of Cambridge NewMarket in cambridge university town, England.
Weng Meiling's mother died in the UK on 17 January 2017 at the age of 91. On 23 February 2017, he was buried with Weng Meiling at Cambridge Cemetery.
