Liu Shaoqi's wife, Wang Guangmei, is a well-known lady, one of the most legendary women of the 20th century, and is also known as one of the "Three Kings of Mathematics". Liu Shaoqi's wife, Wang Guangmei, was born in Beijing in 1921 and graduated from the Department of Physics of Fu Jen University in Peking in 1943. At the beginning of 1946, Wang Guangmei, who had already received two admission letters for doctoral studies in the United States, handed her a note at the same time by someone from the ccp's underground party organization.
The note reads: In order to implement the armistice agreement, the Communist Party of China and the Kuomintang government and the United States will set up the Beiping Military Investigation Department, and she will be invited to serve there as an English interpreter for the Chinese communist side. At that time, Wang Guangmei did not think too much, all she wanted was: The Communist Party needs me, then I will go. Therefore, Wang Guangmei refused the admission of the United States and went to the Military Investigation Department to report to the Military Investigation Department and serve as an interpreter for Ye Jianying and other directors.
At the end of the 1990s, Wang Guangmei launched a large-scale poverty alleviation plan "Happiness Project" and traveled in many directions. In 2006, with the efforts of Wang Guangmei, the program helped more than 150,000 poor families and benefited more than 690,000 people, and Wang Guangmei also won the "China Population Award". On October 13 of the same year, Wang Guangmei died in Beijing at the age of 85.
Wang Guangmei is a legendary figure of a generation, among which the family factor is very important. She came from a prominent family, and her father, Wang Zhichang, attended the Paris Peace Conference as a minister. After graduating from Tsinghua University, he went to the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia to pursue a master's degree, and returned to China after completing his studies. Because of his rich learning, cheerful and handsome personality, he soon became acquainted with Hu Min, whose family was the king of Sichuan ships. After getting married, Wang Guangqi did not want to step into the political arena, so he went to Jincheng Bank in Qingdao, Shandong Province, as a director, and then returned to Beiping, went to work in the bank, and then chose to be a professor at Yenching University.
After the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japan, Wang Guangqi and his wife moved to Sichuan with Yenching University. After the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japan, because Li Zongren, who had just become the director of the Beibei Parallel Yuan, suffered from the lack of economic talents around him, and there were no acquaintances in Beiping, he was afraid of not being able to open his fists and feet, Li Zongren told his old friend Hu Min's father about this matter, and Hu Min's father recommended his son-in-law Wang Guangqi, so Wang Guangqi's family went north to Beiping to serve the Kuomintang.
After the end of the Liberation War, Wang Guangqi chose to stay in the mainland, because of his past work experience, engaged in international trade research in the Ministry of Foreign Trade, and unfortunately died of cerebral thrombosis in 1985 at the age of 69, ending his ups and downs and tortuous life.
The relationship between Wang Guangmei and the second brother was very good, although during the Liberation War, the two did not have much contact due to their different political parties and positions, but the blood ties of brothers and sisters have always been connected, and the two people's concern for each other has not faded.
Although the second brother Wang Guangqi fought for the Kuomintang during the Liberation War, his choice before and after was to cultivate talents and promote economic development for the country, so we need to treat Wang Guangqi's achievements with a positive vision and attitude.
The fourth brother, Wang Guangjie, was later renamed Wang Shiguang. Originally studied in the Department of Mathematics of Peking University, he later transferred to the Department of Electrical Engineering of Tsinghua University to study radio and was a well-known electronics expert. Wang Guangjie was the first in his family to join the revolution, and in December 1935, Wang Guangjie participated in the "12.9 Movement" that broke out in Beijing, and soon became a member of the Communist Party of China, and Wang Guangjie was the first brother and sister to join the Communist Party.
Once, when Wang Guangfu was finished on a routine patrol and preparing to return to The Laohekou Airport in Hubei Province, he passed through Jingmen Airport, where several enemy bombers were preparing to land on the ground.
Subsequently, due to strategic needs, the CCP wanted to establish a secret radio station in Tianjin and maintain contact with Yan'an, and Yao Yilin, a former friend of Qinghuayuan and alias Yao Keguang, approached Wang Guangjie and asked him to find a way to assemble a radio transceiver and set up a secret radio station.
In order to hide their eyes, the underground party also assigned Wang Lanfen to rent a house with Wang Guangjie in the name of husband and wife in the Garden of Eden in Linmok Road (present-day Shashi Road) in the British Concession of Tianjin as the location of the secret radio station. The two developed a bond in a common struggle and were officially married in December 1938 with the approval of the Party organization.
Wang Guangjie and his comrades-in-arms also cobbled together under extremely difficult conditions to establish the Xinhua Radio Station, which was officially broadcast in Handan, Hebei Province, in September 1946 to convey the party's voice to the whole country. Therefore, Wang Guangjie was awarded the title of "Special Meritorious Service".
During the Liberation War, because of the tense situation, the radio installed by Wang Guangjie lacked drawings and other materials, and the work could not be carried out smoothly, so Wang Guangjie converted the existing radio station into shortwave to use it to facilitate the transmission of information. In the narrow and sweltering boiler room, Wang Guangjie also used aircraft, rail wreckage, etc. to transform into communication materials, and burned porcelain to make insulation materials, providing uninterrupted communication support for the Chinese Communist Party's battles.
After the victory of the Liberation War, Wang Guangjie served as the deputy minister of the Ministry of Electronics Industry. In his later years, Wang Guangjie also wrote a total of 700,000 words of professional books on radio and radar, and published them all to continue to serve the country.
Later, when Jiang Zemin was minister of the Ministry of Electronics Industry, Wang Guangjie considered his advanced age and asked for retirement, but Jiang Zemin, taking into account Wang Guangjie's exquisite business and profound qualifications, deliberately retained him as vice minister and chief engineer. Later, in 1994, the Chinese Academy of Engineering was established, and the Ministry of Electronics wanted to recommend Wang Guangjie as an academician, but he resolutely refused to accept it, saying that he was older, and when the position had no practical significance, the position should let young people come to be an academician, and only then could there be vitality and prospects.
The fourth brother, Wang Guangjie, perfectly combines the two temperaments of the old revolutionary and the great intellectual, and no matter what kind of situation the country is in, he can find his own position and shine.

When Wang Guangfu was studying at Zhicheng Middle School in Beiping, the Japanese army sent planes to harass and bomb Chinese land almost every day, and Zhicheng Middle School was often suspended. Wang Guangfu had a wish in his heart, "One day in the future, I will personally beat them down!" ”
At that time, when the Kuomintang government recruited flight cadets at Zhicheng Middle School to strengthen China's air force, Wang Guangfu did not say a word and immediately signed up to join the army. After three years of flying training in the army, Wang Guangfu successfully graduated from the ninth special training class of the Air Force Officer Academy in 1939.
Wang Guangfu's first mission was to run to the Yining Air Base in Xinjiang, and soon after, Wang Guangfu was appointed captain of the Seventh Flight Detachment, responsible for leading the wingman out to fight.
Moreover, the Japanese army wanted to open up the Guangdong-Han Railway and the Pinghan Railway, and in order to stop the enemy's action, when Wang Guangfu was deterred and reconnaissance in the air, he found that the enemy had covered a long line of carriages with oilcloths and set up two firewalls in the railway station, thinking that this must be the enemy's arsenal, so Wang Guangfu immediately organized a bombing, raze the entire railway station to the ground, and successfully pinned down the enemy.
During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, he was incorporated into the three major teams of the Mixed Regiment of the Sino-US Air Force and participated in the famous Wuhan Air Battle. In this battle, Wang Guangfu was shot and wounded, but still insisted on driving the plane back to the airport first, and the comrades-in-arms saw Wang Guangfu fly back and hurried forward to send him to the rear hospital.
During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Wang Guangfu successfully completed 75 combat missions and shot down a total of eight Japanese enemy planes; he was the anti-Japanese hero who shot down the most Japanese aircraft in the Chinese theater of World War II, and was also one of the heroes of the Flying Tiger who was like a thunderbolt; he was also known as "a trump card of the Chinese Air Force during the War of Resistance Against Japan." Because of his outstanding achievements, he subsequently served as the chief of the operations department of the Kuomintang Air Force Headquarters. Wang Guangfu also served as the director of the flight supervision office and an instructor at the Air Force University in the Kuomintang army.
Although Wang Guangfu was an official under the Kuomintang, he never regarded the Communist Party as his target. After the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Wang Guangfu returned home once, and the other brothers and sisters saw Wang Guangfu and questioned him: "Why did you choose to side with the Kuomintang?" Have you ever dropped a bomb on the Communist Party? Wang Guangfu hurriedly pleaded: "I fought Japanese devils in the Kuomintang army, and I have never and will never drop bombs on the Communists."
At the 2005 conference to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, mr. Wang Guangfu, 89, as the only overseas Chinese among the ten old anti-Japanese heroes, accepted the commemorative medal personally worn by President Hu Jintao at the Great Hall of the People.
On July 9, 2008, Wang Guangfu died at his home in Dallas, Texas, at the age of 92.

When Wang Guangying was studying, he twice said that he would join the revolution, but neither of them came to fruition. Therefore, in 1945, Wang Guangying applied to Cui Yueli, the head of the underground party, to go to Yan'an to participate in the anti-Japanese struggle, and Cui Yueli dissuaded him: "One more person is a good thing for the revolutionary cause, but when you arrive in Yan'an, the party is only afraid to let you continue to do business. In 1957, Voroshirov, chairman of the Supreme Soviet of the Soviet Union, visited China, and Wang Guangying and others accompanied Premier Zhou Enlai to receive him. At the banquet, Zhou Enlai introduced himself to the Chairman of the Soviet Union, saying, "In China, there is no red bourgeoisie, but there are red capitalists. This is, his name is Wang Guangying. ”
In the early 1980s, Wang Guangying set up Everbright Company, headquartered in Hong Kong, Wang Guangying served as the chairman and general manager of the company, Wang Guangying used Sino-foreign joint venture methods to get many large-scale construction projects, such as the Waihai Field Reclamation Project, the Grinding Knife Gate Project, the Jiangmen Bridge Project, etc., which made outstanding contributions to China's construction and development.
