After meeting with comrades who work underground, Wang Guangmei hesitated because she was worried that she would delay her studies. But after careful consideration, she believes that the Chinese Communist Party is a party that truly serves the people and the country, and that she was the Communist Party that took the initiative to contact it, and it is not appropriate to say anything now. So she postponed the date of study, and then took the introduction letter given by the organization and officially became an interpreter for the Chinese communist side of the Military Investigation Department. Later, she moved to Yan'an to work, and after arriving in Yan'an, she met the most important person in her life, that is, Liu Shaoqi.
In the revolutionary years, people-to-people interaction was very pure, and Liu Shaoqi was 23 years older than Wang Guangmei, and he was still carrying children at that time. He was afraid of dragging Wang Guangmei down, so he explained his situation before the exchange, but this further won Wang Guangmei's favor. She felt that the man was honest and down-to-earth, and that age was not an issue, and she was more worried that the two would have differences in their ideological and political work.
