陳堯，先後畢業于江蘇淮安師院國畫專業、江蘇教育學院美術系。國家民族畫院畫家，一級美術師。中國書畫資訊網簽約畫家，博寶藝術網簽約畫家。中國盈聯學會會員，中國書法家協會（香港）會員，中國書畫協會會員，中國藝術資本理事會副主席。先後被中國網、央視網、人民網、光明網、搜狐網、中國企業報道、大洋網、新政文化網等報道為“深入生活紮根人民優秀書畫家”。作品多次入展全國大展并獲獎，發表于《人民藝術家》、《中國字畫收藏指南》、《愛國書畫家大辭典》、《美術報》、《中國美術》、《藝術資訊》、《中國書畫報》、《中國優秀藝術家作品集》、《中國藝術名家.陳堯》、《中國當代藝術大家.大作》、名績收錄于《美麗中國》、《建國70慶典》等國家郵冊 。
中國畫講究筆墨情趣，筆法生筆意，要達到神似意足，則來自筆意。氣韻在胸，筆随心轉，才能取象不惑，統一物象的神韻和心中的意韻，達到形神皆備，所謂“意在筆先”是也。“藝術基于傳統”，隻有在傳統基礎上的創新，才能創作出藝術感染力強的藝術品。
陳堯早年受教于傅抱石大師弟子江鳴歧先生、朱華教授等，接受過正規系統的教學培育。陳堯的作品來源于傳統，融傳統筆墨技法與現代審美觀念為一體，既具備學院派繪畫的嚴謹規正，又有文人畫的詩意與灑脫，他将自然物象和現實生活的主觀感受有機整合，整體上追求自由書寫的豪放，細節中“緻精微”。他遊曆太湖、洪澤湖、西湖及長江、黃河兩岸，閱盡黃山、泰山、峨眉、青城、太行、大别山等名山，在祖國壯麗河山中尋找創作靈感，以“已法”賦山水以靈性與詩意。他筆下的山水用筆灑脫靈動而又有骨力，凝重雅緻而又富詩韻。充分彰顯中國傳統繪畫的寫意精神及内涵，他以心狀物，形神混然，既寫出自然物象之美，又盡顯文人畫精神氣韻。抒發出學養胸襟及審美追求。
Chen Yao graduated from the Department of Traditional Chinese Painting at Huai'an Normal University in Jiangsu Province and the Department of Fine Arts at Jiangsu University of Education. Painter at the National Ethnic Painting Academy, first-class artist. Signed painter on China Calligraphy and Painting Information Network and signed painter on Bobao Art Network. Member of China Yinglian Society, Member of China Calligraphers Association (Hong Kong), Member of China Calligraphy and Painting Association, Vice Chairman of China Art Capital Council. It has been successively reported as an "excellent calligrapher and painter deeply rooted in people's lives" by China Net, CCTV Net, People's Daily, Guangming Net, Sohu Net, China Enterprise News, Dayang Net, New Politics Culture Net, and others. The works have been exhibited and won awards at national exhibitions multiple times, and have been published in "People's Artists", "Guide to the Collection of Chinese Calligraphy and Painting", "Dictionary of Patriotic Calligraphers and Painters", "Art Newspaper", "Chinese Art", "Art Information", "Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Newspaper", "Collection of Works of Excellent Chinese Artists", "Famous Chinese Artist Chen Yao", "Great Works of Contemporary Chinese Art", and their achievements have been included in national albums such as "Beautiful China" and "70th Anniversary of the Founding of the People".
Chinese painting emphasizes the charm of brushwork and ink, and the brushwork generates brushwork meaning. To achieve full similarity in spirit, it comes from brushwork meaning. Qi and rhyme are in the chest, and the pen rotates with the heart, so as to take images without confusion, unify the spirit of objects and the meaning of the heart, and achieve both form and spirit. The so-called "intention lies in the pen first" is also true. Art is based on tradition, and only through innovation based on tradition can we create artworks with strong artistic appeal.
Chen Yao was taught by Master Fu Baoshi's disciples Mr. Jiang Mingqi and Professor Zhu Hua in his early years, and received formal and systematic teaching and cultivation. Chen Yao's works are derived from tradition, integrating traditional brush and ink techniques with modern aesthetic concepts. They possess both the rigorous and formal style of academic painting, as well as the poetic and free spirited style of literati painting. He organically integrates natural phenomena with subjective feelings of real life, and pursues the bold and unrestrained style of free writing as a whole, with "exquisite and subtle" details. He traveled to the Taihu Lake Lake, Hongze Lake, West Lake and both banks of the Yangtze River and the Yellow River, read all the famous mountains such as Mount Huangshan, Mount Taishan, Emei, Qingcheng, Taihang, Dabie Mountains, and found creative inspiration in the magnificent rivers and mountains of the motherland, and endowed the landscape with spirituality and poetry by "already doing". The landscape in his writing is free and agile, yet has bone power, and is dignified, elegant, and rich in poetic charm. Fully embodying the spirit and connotation of freehand brushwork in traditional Chinese painting, he portrays the beauty of natural objects and fully showcases the spirit and charm of literati painting with a heart shaped object and a mixed form and spirit.
