IT Home reported on May 5 that according to Wall Street News, the battery configured with Apple's iPhone 16 series will be replaced with stainless steel from aluminum-plastic film, and the supplier is a Chinese company. The all-steel shell will be laser welded, which can improve the battery life, mainly to increase the number of cycles.

IT Home learned from previous revelations that the battery capacity of iPhone 16 series models will be adjusted. The standard version has been increased from 3,349 mAh to 3,561 mAh, the Plus version has been reduced from 4,383 mAh to 4,006 mAh, and the Pro Max version has been increased from 4,422 mAh to 4,676 mAh.

At present, it is not clear whether the change in battery capacity is related to the change in the battery case.

According to previously leaked model photos, the Apple iPhone 16 and 16 Plus will feature two vertically arranged cameras, while the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max will retain a triple camera setup, similar to the previous model.
