In the past, it was often said that reading changed one's destiny, and it seemed that one could break the class limits through one's own efforts. However, it has to be admitted that there are still large differences in the level of development between cities and regions in modern society, and even college students with the same academic qualifications are difficult to have the same development prospects in different cities.
Humanistic psychologist Maslow believes that among the individual's needs for the outside world, the most basic demand is the demand for food and clothing, so it is actually easier to achieve a good material standard of living. But Maslow also argues that the highest need of an individual is the pursuit of spiritual power, that is, they can live as they please.
The huge level difference between the development of cities on both sides of the strait has led to some people having difficulty living in first-tier cities, even if they work very hard every day, their income can only maintain food and clothing, and the quality of life is greatly reduced.
The prevailing ideas propagated by society have been telling these unfinished students that their abilities and diplomas are enough to give them a foothold in a city.
Therefore, many students have a passion after graduation, and they stay in a strange city to work alone. In their view, there is no difference between society and the campus environment in which they usually live, they can have a cheap food and accommodation environment, and there will be people around them who will continue to support themselves.
But the harsh reality quickly wiped out the enthusiasm of these students, and after entering the society, they found that the most basic problem they needed to face every day was how to live and where to rest. Under the influence of these pressures, many young people choose to lie flat and give up, and even some people will forget their original ideals. This is the dilemma of tens of thousands of geniuses, 90% of highly educated people, can not escape the low-end life.
It is often said that the major you choose in college will have a major impact on your future work, which also makes many college students naively believe that the knowledge and professional ability they learn in school can support them to complete their future work. But this is not the case, and diplomas are not as important as we think in modern society.
Most companies need people who can benefit themselves or help them solve their current problems, not just a student who has received a higher education. Therefore, newly graduated college students often face many difficult to accept the reality of the problem, do not know what kind of work to do.
Some people have found a job that interests them, but the benefits of this job are too small to even support themselves.
And those jobs that can bring high returns often have problems that they cannot accept, and in such comparisons, they have to make choices, so that they gradually lose their original ideals and are forced to accept reality.
That's why many industries are very keen to hire a college student without any work experience. College students only need to be paid less than they are paid to make them work very hard. But finding a job is only the first step to improving their lives for these college students.
In the past, when living in elementary school students, most students, although they had no financial resources, were still able to live a decent and free life.
But after graduation, they need to survive alone, and they need to start paying for rent, utilities, property bills and other living expenses on their own. Only when these high costs of living are unfolding in front of them can they realize how difficult it is to survive.
These students who have just come out of the campus do not have enough energy and ability to save, and some even fall into debt after desperate efforts. The main reason for such a strong contrast is that knowledge and academic qualifications always exist in a higher position in the eyes of everyone.
It seems that every Chinese wants to become a person who learns to be rich and wealthy, and many rural families will also regard college students as the pride of their families. With the popularization of compulsory education, more and more people think that receiving a better education is a matter of course, and there is no need to think about the cost of education.
Such an idea is good, after all, we can enrich ourselves through learning, let ourselves see a broader world, and make our thinking more flexible and deep. But today, most of this knowledge is just a diploma and does not help substantially in life.
Many company and unit leaders pay more attention to a person's ability to deal with problems, the level of emergency handling in the face of emergencies, and the comprehensive performance in daily work. We now think that a high degree of education can have high intelligence and good job prospects, which is indeed correct.
It's just that this kind of thinking has certain limitations of the times. A few decades ago, there were not many talents on the mainland who had been exposed to higher education, and high education often represented getting ahead. However, with the development of the mainland's comprehensive strength, today's college students are no longer what they used to be, and the gold content of academic qualifications has also been greatly reduced.
Going to college is more like compulsory education, which has become a necessary path for every reader. Therefore, those highly educated talents who were highly regarded in the past have gradually become the most inconspicuous of all sentient beings. While it is true that highly educated people will live more easily than lowly educated people, their living environment is no longer comparable to that of people who were decades ago.
This also reminds us not to pay too much attention to our academic qualifications, but to actively and steadily find ways to continue to live.
Many college students or graduate students of famous universities only keep a diploma and cannot support themselves by staying at home all day. From this point of view, a high degree is a bad thing for them.
