The volunteers, like hammers and anvils, launched a devastating attack on the 2nd Regiment of the Han 6th Division! Where had these South Korean armies, adapted from puppet armies, seen such a fierce army, and soon gave up their defenses and fled in all directions, not even having time to use the heavy weapons they were carrying.
At 3 p.m., the battle was over. The battle was a fruitful one, killing and wounding 325 enemy troops and taking 161 prisoners. 38 vehicles, 12 howitzers, 163 guns of various kinds, and a number of bullets and shells were seized. This time, the 118th Division was a small fortune.
This battle was the first battle after the volunteer army entered Korea, and the 118th Division made a good start, which was of great significance. However, after the war, the commander of the 352nd Regiment found Commander Deng Yue and launched a complaint.

This battle directly opened the prelude to the first campaign to resist US aggression and aid Korea. Before the U.S.-led United Nations and South Korean forces could understand who their opponents were, they were so overwhelmed that they retreated south of the Cheongcheon River.
