The animation adapted from "Journey to the West" "The Haunting of the Heavenly Palace" actually changed the original ending 丨 night question

Answer: In the original work, Sun Wukong was crushed under the Five Elements Mountain, and finally rescued by the Tang monks, escorting him to the Western Heavens to learn the scriptures. The ending of the animation "Haunting the Heavenly Palace" is that Sun Wukong has gained freedom and lives happily with monkeys and monkeys in Huaguo Mountain.

If you mention the masterpieces of Chinese animation, many people's first thought is "The Haunting of the Heavenly Palace", which was born in the 1960s as a color animation film that made Chinese animation raise its eyebrows, not only widely popular in China, but also went abroad and won wide acclaim in the world. What makes all this possible is the first generation of Chinese animators represented by Wan Liming.

On October 7, 1997, animation master Wan Liming passed away. He is the founder of Chinese animation films and one of the pioneers of fine art films. Together with his "Wan Brothers", he took root in Chinese animation and thrived. Born in 1900, Wan Liming loved to paint since he was a child, and although he was once hindered by his father because of his family's poverty, his determination to paint overcame everything. He never studied painting with a certain painting master, but learned from various painting schools, Eastern, Western, Brush, Ink, different painters and techniques of painting have been carefully pondered by him, and slowly formed his own style. While observing diorahines and movies, he germinated the idea of making Chinese painting move, so he and a few brothers worked frugally to create the original Chinese animation in the 1940s.

Because the capital at that time favored Disney's animation, they could be said to be struggling, and even could only make animated advertisements for a living. Wan Liming's ideal of making his favorite "Journey to the West" into an animation was not realized until after the founding of New China. After several years, dozens of painters hand-drawn, New China's first full-length color animation film "The Great Haunting of the Heavenly Palace" was finally born. Wan Liming, who watched the film in the film room, burst into tears, from germination of creative ideas to realization, he spent 20 years, at this time he was already over the age of flower armor.

This animation is completely created by Chinese, and the art, music and action design in it all reflect Chinese culture. The color scheme of the art is quite traditional in China, the music borrows from the drum beats of the opera to make the fight scene particularly wonderful, the action design also refers to the elements of the opera, and the whole work is the crystallization of the collective wisdom of the Chinese animators at that time.

The content of the animation is selected from the first seven episodes of Journey to the West and boldly adapted. Compared with the original Work, Where Sun Wukong was finally crushed under the Five Finger Mountain waiting for Tang Monk to rescue and tame, the animated version of "The Great Haunting of the Heavenly Palace" gave Sun Wukong a free ending. Sun Wukong, who rebelled against the feudal powers, was able to return to Huaguo Mountain, and the spirit of man's victory over heaven was manifested in it, and this ending was quite groundbreaking. The film won the Special Award for Short Film at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in Czechoslovakia in 1962, the Outstanding Film award of the Year at the London International Film Festival in 1978, the third prize at the 4th International Children's Film Festival in Ecuador in 1982, and the Best Fine Art Film Award at the 2nd Hundred Flowers Award for Chinese Cinema.

The influence of this animation continues to this day, at the moment when the Beijing Winter Olympics are about to open, a Winter Olympic promotional video of Shanghai Fine Arts Film Studio is once again on fire, and there are many classic characters born in the film, among which the C position is "Qi Tian Dasheng" Sun Wukong, the sentence "Children, practice up" makes people feel excited, may Chinese animation get better and better, and everyone will practice.
