Wang Qingren (1768-1831) was an innovative medical scientist, and although his "Correction of Errors in the Medical Forest" was only more than 30,000 words, it played a pivotal role in the development of traditional Chinese medicine. In particular, the stasis soup formula he formulated has greatly enriched the theory of blood stasis in Traditional Chinese medicine and the method of activating blood stasis, and is a reliable empirical prescription for the treatment of critical and difficult diseases. The analysis of the evidence and treatment of its stasis soup side is described below, so as to be in the same way.
Stasis is a treatment, and its corresponding symptom is blood stasis. Blood stasis as the name of the disease certificate, first seen in Zhang Zhongjing's "Golden Kuai Jiaoluo , Panic and Vomiting Under the Blood Chest Full of Blood Stasis Disease Evidence Treatment", although the article does not contain blood stasis prescription medicine, but in other pages there are many effective recipes, such as blood stasis soup, peach kernel chengqi soup, guizhi poria pills, rhubarb peony skin soup, etc.
On the basis of inheriting the Jing Fang, Wang Qingren created a lot of effective stasis soups for different stasis certificates, and there are fourteen commonly used ones. There are direct names of "stasis by stasis", such as blood house stasis soup, diaphragm stasis soup, less abdomen stasis soup, body pain stasis soup, through the menstruation stasis soup, epiglottis stasis soup, etc., counting six songs. Although some are not named "stasis by stasis", their "stasis by stasis" effect is also very obvious, such as tonifying the yang and returning the five soups, the tongzhi blood soup, the detoxification and vitality soup, the anti-diarrhea soup, the first aid huiyang soup, the auxiliary yang anti-itch soup, the foot guard and rong soup, the epileptic dream awakening soup, etc., counting eight songs. These stasis soup formulas are the inheritance and exertion of the Jingfang, and still play a positive clinical effect.
In the "Correction of Mistakes in the Medical Forest", there are many descriptions of blood stasis evidence, in its six stasis prescriptions, the diseases treated have the word "blood stasis" (or cloud blood stasis, or cloud blood stagnation, or cloud blood stagnation, or cloud blood stasis); especially in the 19 diseases treated by the blood house stasis soup, 12 of them are clearly caused by blood stasis; 6 diseases treated by the diaphragm stasis soup are all blood stasis symptoms. It can be seen that Wang Qingren attaches great importance to the treatment of miscellaneous diseases and the application of blood stasis certificates and their blood activation and stasis methods.
Wang Qingren observed the blood stasis disorder very carefully. He said in "The Discussion on the Correction of Mistakes in the Medical Forest: Half-Body Failure": "All those who encounter symptoms must be carefully studied. Judge the glory and withering of qi and blood, and discern the stagnation of meridians. Forty years have come a long way. He will "treat the disease of qi deficiency and blood stasis by Pingsu, and record a number of rules to show people." "This" blood stasis (Note: same as the evidence) can be found, and there are fifty of them. "If the fifty evidences of blood stasis are analyzed and summarized, there are three main indications.
First, pain: such as headache, eye pain, chest pain, shoulder pain, arm pain, low back pain, leg pain, body pain, abdominal pain, epiglottitis, etc.;
The second is skin color abnormalities: such as rosacea, vitiligo, purple printed face, purpura, face such as ink, skin rash, skin spots, skin green tendons;
The third is the block: such as pediatric lumps, intra-abdominal masses, menstrual blood or black or lumps.
Others such as prolonged diarrhea, insomnia, fever, deafness, chancre, etc., in the case of long-term cure, Wang Qingren took the blood stasis certificate into account and treated it, adding more room for thinking to future generations.
The above fourteen first parties, the use of 49 flavors of drugs (including old onions, fresh ginger, red dates, rice wine). The most commonly used drugs are peach kernel (12 songs), safflower (12 songs), red peony (10 songs), angelica (9 songs), licorice root (9 songs), Sichuan root (7 songs), chai hu (5 songs), astragalus (4 songs), citrus shell (4 songs), followed by Wuling Fat (3 songs), Xiangfu (3 songs), Earth Dragon (3 songs), Dang Ginseng (3 songs), Bai Shu (3 songs), etc. If the above drugs are classified according to prescriptions, it is obvious that there are two complete prescriptions, namely rosé four-substance soup and four-inverse scatter. In particular, there are nine prescription drugs that are mainly added and subtracted by peach red four-substance soup, and two prescription drugs that are added and subtracted by four reverse scatters; among which there are four prescription drugs with four reverse scattering addition and subtraction with peach red four-substance soup. This shows that the stasis soup created by Wang Qingren is more formulated for blood deficiency and blood stasis and qi stagnation. As far as blood deficiency and blood stasis are concerned, blood stasis is the main symptom of the disease, or the main contradiction. Wang Qingren's narrative of the stasis soup class is more emphasized. The most used "pair of medicines" to activate blood stasis are peach kernels and safflower (11 songs), Sichuan root and red peony (5 songs), followed by Yuan Hu and Wuling Fat (2 songs), Pu Huang and Wu Ling Fat (1 song) and so on.
The drug compatibility of "Medical Forest Correction" is concise and practical, taking the fourteen first parties as an example, its compatibility rules are roughly as follows: Yiqi and vitality, Rational Qi and blood, nourishing blood, Wenyang blood, spleen and blood, aromatic blood, Tongluo blood and so on.
Wang Qingren attaches great importance to the method of yiqi and blood activation, and he has written in "Medical Forest Correction", "Half of the body does not follow the origin", "The mouth and eyes are crooked to distinguish", "distinguish between salivating and non-phlegm drinking in the corners of the mouth", "distinguish between dry stools and non-wind and fire", "distinguish between frequent urination and enuresis", "distinguish between language and congestion and non-phlegm fire", and so on, respectively, on his illness mechanisms as "qi loss", "qi is not up to reach", "qi is weak and not solid", "no energy to urge Dagong (referring to stool) downwards", "qi deficiency drowning hole opening", "half of the side is not gas", and so on. Each astragalus is mainly beneficial to qi, and reused, such as eight two for astragalus peach red soup, four two for supplementing yang five soups, astragalus windproof soup and astragalus licorice soup, etc., two two for astragalus red wind soup, one two for Baoli Su soup, one two and two dollars for auxiliary yang anti-itch soup, foot guard and Rong soup and Baoyuanhua stagnation soup, and less than eight dollars such as anti-diarrhea soup. Although the whole book does not focus on astragalus, his dominant idea is to replenish gas and dissolve stasis. He said: "Since the yuan qi is weak, it will not reach the blood vessels, and the blood vessels will have no qi, and they will stay and stasis." "Therefore, borrow astragalus to replenish vitality to promote blood vitality." The drugs used to activate blood stasis are mostly peach kernels and safflowers, followed by red peony and so on.
Li Qi And Blood Vitality Wang Qing appointed the representative prescription medicine of the Li Qi Blood Activation Method as the Blood House Stasis Soup. This party is basically a combination of peach red four things soup and four reverse scattering, but it adds two flavors of introducing menstrual medicines, namely orange stem and ox knee, and the treatment is "blood stasis of the blood house", indicating that the stasis of the blood house is closely related to the stagnation of qi. Others, such as epiglottis and stasis soup, detoxification and blood soup, are composed of peach red four-substance soup to Sichuan root and four reverse scatter flavor, but the former plus the orange stem of Qingli throat and the xuan ginseng of clear hot and cool blood, the latter plus the kudzu root that relieves heat and evil and the forsythia that detoxifies loose knots. With the qi medicine, it is more conducive to the dissipation of blood stasis.
Nourishing Blood and Living Blood Wang Qingren's method of nourishing blood and living blood is based on the peach red four things soup as the main party, such as the blood house stasis soup to take the whole square of the peach four things soup. Others include diaphragm stasis soup (unused raw land), tonic Yang Huan Wu tang (unused angelica, raw land), epiglottitis stasis soup (not used Sichuan root), detoxification and blood soup (not used angelica, Sichuan root), body pain stasis soup (unused raw land, red peony) and so on. Healthy Spleen and Active Blood Take astragalus, Dang Ginseng, Bai Shu, Licorice Qi, Healthy Spleen, with peach kernels, safflower, angelica, white peony to nourish the yin, such as foot guard and camp soup to treat post-acne convulsions, mouth gags, neck back reversal, etc. In the first aid Huiyang soup and anti-diarrhea medium soup, there are also compatibilities between spleen and blood activating drugs.
Tongluo active blood Take pangolins, soap thorns, earth dragon meridian active network, with peach kernels, safflower, red peony to activate blood stasis, such as tongjing stasis soup, "fang Chinese medicine is not too cold and hot, not big attack, it is really a good recipe." Aromatic Blood Vitality Wang Qingren makes good use of musk, "all by good musk." The aromatic passage of the substance, the passage of the Twelve Classics, the opening of the tricks, the good into the fine network, representing the prescription medicine for the tongzhi blood soup, is the prescription treatment of diseases there are as many as fourteen. Other soups such as tongjing stasis soup also use musk, with the aim of accessing the tricks.

Wang Qingren's "Correcting Mistakes in the Medical Forest" is an application and play of "Blood And Reality Should Be Decided" in "Su Qing Yin and Yang Should Be Like the Great Theory". Due to the limitations of science and technology, the internal organs he drew did not really play a role in "correcting errors". Mr. Jia Dedao said in the "Outline of the History of Chinese Medicine": "Strictly speaking, it was Wang Qingren of the Qing Dynasty who really opened up the anatomical path in China. ”
The influence of this book on the clinical therapeutics of traditional Chinese medicine is as Zhang Xichun said in the first volume of "Medical Intentions and References to the West": "Wang Qingren wrote the book "Medical Forest Correction", which set up live blood and stasis and soup, press the upper and lower parts, divide the stasis, rule over hundreds of diseases, and say that the stasis of blood goes away and the diseases heal themselves. Its formulation is not unbiased, but its general purpose is indeed subjective, and those who use it are more effective. This comment is appropriate and fair.
For the study and application of "Medical Forest Correction", it will continue to be discovered and innovated now and in the future. Although some prescription drugs have been converted into proprietary Chinese medicines, such as the transformation of Blood House Stasis Soup into Blood House Stasis Oral Liquid, there is still a certain gap between safe, effective, inexpensive and convenient drugs.
