Wang Qingren (1768-1831), also known as Quan Ren , was a native of Yahongqiao Hedong Village, Yutian County, Hebei Province. He is an innovative medical practitioner in the history of medicine in China, who attaches great importance to human anatomy, personally observes the structure of the corpse, and draws it to show it; the evidence is also quite insightful, creating many prescriptions for replenishing qi and activating blood and dissolving stasis. He is the author of the book "Medical Forest Correction".
Wang Qingren learned martial arts from an early age and was a martial artist. In his youth, he was admitted to wu xiucai and was born in wuke. Later, he donated thousands of general ranks (junior officers). Because of his upright temperament and honesty, during his tenure as General Manager of the Qianzong, he witnessed and experienced the corruption of the late Qing Dynasty officialdom, especially because he himself had a martial art, and in the end he had to spend money to buy a small official to do it, and gradually formed the desire of "not being a good look, willing to be a good doctor", changing to Qi Huang and taking medicine as his profession. It is said that in ZhiXian County, Yutian County, at that time, it was necessary to collect the Yahong Bridge as "Guanqiao Guandu", and the people had to charge for crossing the bridge ferry. In order to safeguard the interests of the local people, Wang Qingren resolutely served the people and resolutely opposed the charging, which offended the county grandfather. The county officials held a grudge in their hearts and instigated the families of patients who had been treated by Wang Qingren but had not been cured or died to go to the county court to file a complaint, in an attempt to frame Wang Qingren and force Wang Qingren to leave his hometown and practice medicine in other places and in Beijing. And later opened a pharmacy in Beijing "Zhi Yi Tang", gradually "famous Beijing Division", and eventually became a generation of famous doctors.
Wang Qingren was already proficient in ancient medical books at the age of twenty, doubting the records of the internal organs in the ancient books, and deeply felt the importance of anatomical knowledge in the process of practicing medicine. After studying some ancient books and graphics of internal organs, he found that there were many contradictions in them, so he said with emotion: "Writing books does not know the internal organs, is it not a fool's dream, the treatment of diseases is unknown to the internal organs, how is it different from blind night walking!" Since then, observational studies of the structure of the human body have begun.
When Wang Qingren was 30 years old, it was Daodi Town, Luanzhou, Hebei Province, practicing medicine, when the plague pandemic, children's corpses were wrapped in many, Wang Qingren passed by the cemetery, saw the body bitten by the dog was exposed, he was not smelly, every morning to see the children's corpses, observed more than 30 bodies for 10 consecutive days, found that there was a discrepancy with the pattern of the organs depicted in ancient books. Since then, he has gone to the execution ground three times in Fengtian and Beijing to secretly observe the corpses and their internal organs to understand the structure of human internal organs.
Sometimes, Wang Qingren dissects livestock without corpses for autopsy research, and he is also the first medical scientist in the history of anatomy in China to do animal dissection experiments, providing a new method for medical research.
In 1830, Wang Qingren drew what he saw in the field during the past 42 years into "Seeing and Correcting the Internal Organs", together with his clinical experience and other related medical treatises, and wrote "Medical Forest Correction". The year the book was engraved and published, Wang Qingren died in the home of a friend in Beijing.
The book "Medical Forest Correction" has more than 30,000 words, 25 maps, 31 self-innovation formulas, and 2 ancient obstetric and gynecological prescriptions. The book is divided into two volumes.
The upper volume contains "The Diagram of the Organs Drawn by the Ancients" and Wang's "Personally Seeing and Correcting the Organs", and from the anatomical and physiological point of view, he wrote "Records of the Blood House of the Epiglottis Left Valve and right Valve Guard", "The Record of the Blood Canal of the Jinmen JinGuan Covering the General Tilong Pipe", "The Theory of the Brain Marrow", "The Theory of The Combination of Qi and Blood", etc. Narrating his observations through autopsy, he corrected some errors in the ancients' understanding of the anatomy and physiological functions of the internal organs. And expounded his academic views of "professional doctors diagnose diseases, when the internal organs are first clear" and "the three keys to curing diseases, in understanding qi and blood".
The previous volume also includes "Fang Xu" and the main treatment of blood soup, blood house stasis soup, and diaphragm stasis soup, etc., mainly discussing the pathology of blood stasis formation and the treatment of blood stasis, and creating new formulas for activating blood stasis. For example, the treatment of head, limbs, and blood vessel stasis around the body creates a general blood soup, flavored analgesic myrrh and ventilation dispersion; the treatment of blood stasis in the chest is used to use blood stasis soup; the treatment of abdominal blood stasis is used under the diaphragm to stasis soup, etc., which provides fresh experience for the treatment of blood stasis diseases in different parts of the body.
The second volume of this book mainly discusses Wang Qingren's clinical medical theoretical understanding and diagnosis and treatment experience in more than 50 kinds of diseases such as hemiplegia, crooked mouth and eyes, pediatric half-body failure, paralysis, plague vomiting, convulsions, acne rash, female infertility, dystocia, paralysis, paralysis, epilepsy, etc. In particular, it focuses on the blood-activating and stasis formulas created by Wang Qingren in combination with the characteristics of the etiological mechanism of different diseases, such as tonic yang and five soups, anti-diarrhea soup, Baoyuanhua stagnation soup, auxiliary yang anti-itch soup, astragalus peach kernel soup, astragalus red wind soup, astragalus windproof soup, first aid huiyang soup, detoxification and blood soup, tongjing blood soup, epiglottitis stasis soup, body pain stasis soup, epileptic dream awakening soup, less abdomen stasis soup, etc., which greatly enriched the clinical practice of the motherland's medical stasis theory and blood stasis method. In addition to his contributions to human anatomy, the book devotes more space to his experience in the diagnosis and treatment of qi and blood diseases, especially qi deficiency and blood stasis. The title of the book is "Medical Forest Correction", and the content is indeed a monograph on blood stasis and blood activation.
Because Wang Qingren's historical environment was strongly bound by feudal society, there were many errors in the anatomical records of human organs he observed, so later doctors praised and disparaged it, and there was a lot of controversy. But objectively speaking, he is an outstanding medical scientist in the history of Chinese medicine who has courage and insight and has the idea of revolutionizing the past and the new. He inherited and creatively developed Chinese medicine, especially the study of blood stasis theory and the treatment of blood stasis, and made great contributions from theory to practice, and was known as a famous master of blood stasis. At present, the research on "blood stasis" and blood stasis activation method has attracted the general attention of the medical community at home and abroad, and a unique medical system has been formed. Therefore, Wang Qingren is recognized as the representative of the Blood Rejuvenation Sect.
