This exhibition exhibits more than 150 works created by Ye Maozhong, which are divided into four sections: "Grateful Painting", "Sailing", "Master's Law Creation" and "Huishi Xianxian", hoping that the audience can not only comprehensively view the whole picture of Ye Maozhong's creation, but also appreciate his creative trajectory in various genres of paintings such as Western painting, sketching, and imitation on a certain timeline, and fully understand Ye Maozhong's identity as an artist.

Liu Yiqian said: "This time the Long Museum (West Bund) did Ye Maozhong's exhibition, and I proposed it to him. I admired him, he was worth curating for him, and we were very good friends. I think the familiar Ye Maozhong may just be a well-known brand marketing planner, a collector, and even many people will ask: 'Can he draw?' ''He painted this painting?'' Because his paintings were hardly shown to the public, but in the early years he held an exhibition of paintings, which was very small. His art is not yet known to the general public. In terms of his artistic attainments themselves, he is quite skilled. The Long Museum hopes to let the public, including people in the art circle, know that Ye Maozhong is not only a master of marketing, but also a painter and calligrapher. There are many outdoor advertisements promoted in this exhibition, not only to attract more audiences to the Long Museum (West Bund) to see the exhibition, but also to hope that the public can understand Ye Maozhong's art. ”

Wang Wei, director of the Long Art Museum, introduced: "Many friends have come to see the exhibition and told me that Teacher Ye is still insisting on sketching and creating during his illness, and I was greatly moved, and I did not expect that Teacher Ye could paint so well and so professionally, and I could clearly see his learning, understanding, breakthrough and creative ambition of the ancient sages. My husband Liu Yiqian served as the curator of this exhibition in particular, and we were both very stressed and motivated, and everything aimed at presenting his works to the best. ”

Ye Maozhong himself did not appear at the exhibition site due to physical reasons. He once mentioned in his self-description: "The spiritual temperament of Song and Yuan painting has always been what I yearn for. The care of Song painting for the nature of the universe is technically reflected in the degree of brush and ink method formed by the creation of foreign teachers; the care of yuan painting for one's own soul is technically reflected in the height of brush and ink formed by the painting of books. The care for the nature of the universe and the self-soul in painting, although it cannot be reached, the heart yearns for it. ”

On the morning of the 17th, the opening seminar of "Ye Mao Chinese Painting Exhibition" was held, and more than 20 famous artists, art historians and curators attended the exhibition, interpreting the exhibition from the perspectives of the meaning of painting, the attitude of life, the artist's talent, and art collection.
