On October 21st, Yiyao Southeast (Session 9) - Chinese Arts and Crafts Master Zheng Youlin Shoushan Stone Carving Heritage Exhibition was unveiled at the Fujian Strait Folk Art Museum. The exhibition is sponsored by the Fujian Provincial Federation of Literature and Literature and the China Shoushan Stone Cultural Development Research Center of the Chinese People's Association, and hosted by the Fujian Folk Writers Association, the Provincial Strait Folk Art Museum, and the Xiamen Academy of Arts and Crafts of Fuzhou University.
Ruan Shiwei, member of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the China Democratic League, chairman of the Fujian Provincial Committee, and vice chairman of the Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference; Wang Qiumei, secretary of the party group of the Fujian Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles; and Liu Hong, full-time vice chairman of the Fujian Provincial Committee of the China Democratic League, visited the site for guidance and expressed their appreciation and affirmation for the exhibition.
There are two major highlights of the Master Zheng Youlin Inheritance Exhibition: first, master Zheng Youlin's works contain deep Chinese culture and philosophy, giving the audience the pleasure of beauty and spiritual questioning; second, Teacher Zheng has many disciples, many of whom are outstanding. They pay attention to drawing nutrition from the older generation, and also join their own exploration and thinking. Many disciples already have a distinct artistic style. Therefore, this exhibition is a visual feast for Shoushan stone carving.
Participating artists include Master Zheng Youlin and his nineteen disciples. A total of 45 works (sets) were exhibited. The works have a wide range of themes, whether it is red themes, characters of Buddhas and immortals, or beautiful mountains, flowers, plants and trees, both shapes and gods, and endless charm. Zheng Youlin's Shoushan stone carving works, whether it is the subject and object, tradition and life, sketching and creation, technical stability and exploration, law and change, or the virtual and real, complex and simple, sparse and dense, large and small, square and round, shape and color of the artistic language, have been endowed with the character of endless exploration and expression, so that with a unique mood and poetic mind, they have created a beautiful interest between real objects and imaginations, presenting Zheng Youlin's unique creative concepts and methods.
Its "Golden Childhood", "Boy Drama" and "Age of Innocence" combine the fun of childhood with the interest of natural life, making people feel sharp and extremely infectious, showing the innocence of children, as well as the innocence contained in childish life; "Songshan, Yunshui, Zen Heart", every line on the stone has been given a brilliant artistic life, mountain pine clouds, a stream of water, a boat to cross, a mid-level pavilion for viewing the mountains and resting feet. The theory of Chinese painting is integrated with the stone, and everything in the world is condensed between the rulers of this stone. The mist soaked through the stone tips, the forest wind gently dreamed, and the lone pine bit the stone body. Berth boat crossing head. Empty and full, the unexpected encounter between stone and inspiration, the two of spirit and landscape become one.
Other artists exhibiting this time include his son Zheng Jiacheng, disciples Zhang Xunping, Chen Xiangqing and Lin Zhiliang. The works on display include Zheng Jiacheng's "Scenery Over the Clouds and Smoke", Zhang Xunping's "Letter with Wife", Chen Xiangqing's "Boy Offering Life", Lin Zhiliang's "Minnan Style" and so on.
The exhibition is open until November 2.
Zheng Youlin, born in 1969 in Fuzhou, Fujian Province, was enlightened by Mr. Guo Maokang, and later studied under Wang Zuguang, a master of Chinese arts and crafts. Master of Chinese Arts and Crafts, expert enjoying special government allowances of the State Council, national technical expert, senior arts and crafts artist, professor and master tutor of Xiamen Academy of Arts and Crafts of Fuzhou University, master's degree master of "Hundred Talents Plan" of outstanding talents in Fujian Province, representative inheritor of intangible cultural heritage of Shoushan stone carving in Fujian Province, director of The Chinese Folk Writers Association, deputy director of the Jade Carving Art Professional Committee of the China Arts and Crafts Society, deputy director of the China Shoushan Stone Development Research Center, member of the Central Cultural Committee of the China Democratic League, President of Fujian Shoushan Stone Culture and Art Research Association. More than 30 works such as "Qile Harmony" and "Fighting" have won the national "Gold Award". His works "Wang Zhi Rotten Ke" are permanently collected in the Palace Museum, and many works such as Vientiane Update, "Fishing alone in the Han River" and "Near the Water Yaoshan Mountain" are permanently collected in the National Art Museum of China. He has published his monographs "Shoushan Stone Maitreya Carving Art", "Chinese Shoushan Stone Art Zheng Youlin Carving Art", "Rong Gu Shuo Jinyi - Zheng Youlin Shoushan Stone Carving Art" collection of works. In 2013, his work "Qile Rongrong" won the "Mountain Flower Award" of the China Federation of Literature and Literature. In February 2014, he was awarded the honorary title of "National Technical Expert" by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People's Republic of China and other ten ministries and commissions. On October 21, 2017, the National Art Museum of China, the highest art hall in China, held the "Zen Fun Stone Rhyme - Zheng Youlin Shoushan Stone Carving Art Exhibition".
