Testament in The Grand Budapest Hotel

The style of "The Grand Budapest Hotel" is immersed in the romantic words of "Budapest". The hotel is like a page in a fairy tale with a piece of cream cake cut out and carved into a mansion.

Gustav is picky and exquisite about details, strict and meticulous about things, and seems to be active to people. He provides excellent service to customers, while taking care of their dark emotions, thus wrapping himself in the abyss of desire. As the protagonist of the film, more like "Budapest" himself came, he gave the soul of the hotel.

Considering the possible mishaps, he made a will to the only loyal child servant around him, and after his death he would receive his inheritance, it was like a joke—a few ivory combs, a few romantic poetry collections. Both were very serious. The combination of phrases like "ivory" and "romantic poetry" and the image behind it is a failure, and it does not convey more accurately the tone of Gustav's poetry, although as precious as ivory. Although I have seen immeasurable poetry consciously or unconsciously, I still rarely see poetry speakers, and it is more like reading. Even as a film, Gustav's way of speaking poetry is the best I've ever seen, and he suddenly sits out of the world and sits with the audience.
