The second Moutai Cup Japan-China International Exchange Table Tennis Conference was held today in Tokyo, Japan.
The competition will be held for two days, attracting not only the Liaoning Provincial Table Tennis Association to participate in the competition, but also table tennis players from Henan, Beijing, Inner Mongolia, Hubei, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Shandong, Shaanxi, Guangdong and Chinese Taipei. On the Japanese side, table tennis players from Tokyo and the surrounding prefectures of Kanagawa, Chiba, and Saitama participate. A total of 630 people registered for the competition, from the 70-year-old group to the group below the third grade of primary school, table tennis enthusiasts of all ages can find their own group and opponents in the competition.

1988 Olympic women's singles champion Chen Jing and men's doubles champion Wei Qingguang kicked off the game, and their wonderful performances made Chinese and Japanese players feast their eyes. Both competitions were titled by Guizhou Moutai Wine, hosted by Li Jun, the former Chinese table tennis player in Japan, and assisted by Shi Xiaojuan. The competition is co-organized by Japanese companies such as Air China, China Southern Airlines, Japan Fujian Economic and Cultural Promotion Association, Quanjude and Toyota Tsusho.

In the history of Sino-Japanese diplomacy, Moutai and Ping-Pong are very critical and important, and are diplomatic lubricants. Before the two Moutai Cups, Li Jun had held four Japan-China friendship matches, and we felt that we had a sense of responsibility to name the Japan-China table tennis competition, which is the sentiment of Moutai people.
