Norman Ridus, the crossbowman in The Walking Dead, said darryl needed to know his fate after Rick Grimes' disappearance. In The Walking Dead s9e05, actor Andrew Lincoln leaves the crew, and lincoln has been playing the main character Rick Grimes since the show's launch in 2010.
The audience knows that Rick did not die in the explosion and was seriously injured and was picked up by Jandis in a mysterious helicopter. However, for many people in the show, they think Rick is dead. Since Rick's body was not found, some people refused to give up their hopes of surviving. Michonne had come to the river in flashbacks to look for Rick's trail, but in the current timeline, she is more focused on leading Alexander and raising two children. Daryl, on the other hand, still believes that Rick is still alive, and in order to find Rick, Brother Crossbow lives alone out of the community, vowing never to give up looking for his brother, and he can't move on like everyone else.
Norman Ridus has played the popular role of crossbow brother since the first season, and recently, in the AMC TV talk show "The Walking Dead", Reedus said:
"If he (Rick) dies, where is his body?" Daryl is a master tracker, his intuition is very accurate, but also good at observation, he can find what he wants from clues, but he just can't find Rick's traces, which makes him confused and confused.
