The original photo is a full-body portrait taken by Deng Enming at the Jinan Lanting Photo Studio during his studies, in which Deng Enming is wearing student clothes and standing next to a chair.

In fact, Deng Enming, who seemed to be young and young at that time, was already a hot-blooded young man with the ideal of saving the country. In 1918, Deng Enming, an aquatic teenager born in Libo County, Guizhou Province, went to Shandong to study, and was admitted to Shandong Provincial No. 1 Middle School. After the outbreak of the May Fourth Movement, Deng Enming actively led the student movement and met a large number of like-minded friends, including Wang Gemei of the Shandong Provincial First Normal School. In July 1921, Deng Enming and Wang Gemei, as representatives of the early organization of the Communist Party of Jinan, went to Shanghai to attend the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and in the following years, Deng Enming traveled throughout Shandong under difficult living conditions to develop early party organizations and lead the workers' movement.

In December 1928, due to the betrayal of traitors, Deng Enming was arrested and imprisoned for the third time. For the last three years of his life, Deng spent time in prison. Although he was seriously ill under torture, he could not defeat Deng Enming's will, and in prison he led two hunger strikes and organized two escapes. On April 5, 1931, the Kuomintang authorities sentenced Deng enming to death for "attempting to subvert the Nationalist government." Shouting "Long live the Communist Party of China," Deng Enming, 30, was shot and killed by the Kuomintang Shandong authorities at the Weiba Road Execution Ground in Jinan.

Deng Enming was the only ethnic minority representative, the only representative of middle school students, the only representative from a remote area in the southwest, and the only representative who bravely performed his righteousness on the execution ground.

Today, the original of Deng Enming's full-body photo is treasured in the Shandong Museum.
