General Secretary Xi Jinping stressed in his 2021 New Year message that the centennial journey is magnificent and the centennial original intention has lasted for a long time. The people of all ethnic groups throughout the country greeted the centenary anniversary of the Communist Party of China with a united and enterprising posture. In this hundred-year journey, countless heroic models have emerged in the land of Shenzhou, and one of the outstanding representatives is the martyr Deng Enming. Deng Enming is one of the great deputies of the CPC and the only representative of the minority nationalities among them; a communist fighter who dares and is good at fighting the enemy with all his might; a leader who dares and is good at leading the people in a struggle against the enemy with all his might; he is an excellent representative of the sons and daughters of Guizhou, a vanguard fighter of the land of Qilu, and a revered heroic model in the land of China.
Deng Enming's growth experience enlightens us: being good at learning is an effective way to make people continue to develop and progress. His excellent study performance has helped Deng Enming to seize the opportunities provided by teachers and organizations to achieve social mobility in the years when class contradictions are surging and coexisting with ethnic contradictions. He came from the previously unknown village of Shuipu to The county seat of Libo, from a border county to Qingdao City, from a middle school student to a major representative of the CPC, from an ordinary peasant disciple to one of the founders of the Communist Party of China. Being good at learning made him more likely than many of his contemporaries to gradually grasp Marxist positions, viewpoints, and methods.
Deng Enming's struggle course shows us that the original intention of communists not only comes from the simple feelings of the people and the persistent pursuit of truth, but also from the scientific theory of Marxism. Deng Enming, who pursues progress and has quick thinking, has sympathized with working people since he was a child. Under the inspiration of the times, under the guidance of good teachers and friends, and driven by ideals and beliefs, he gradually embarked on the road of pursuing truth aimed at saving the country and trying to survive, strengthening the country and enriching the people, liberating the people, and achieving national independence. In the process of persistently pursuing the truth, Deng Enming exchanged, learned from, and interacted with comrade Dao and fellow revolutionaries, and gradually mastered the basic Marxist theory. All these cared for and nourished his original communist intentions.
Deng Enming's heroic sacrifice has taught us that the victory of the revolution, national independence, the liberation of the people, and the prosperity and strength of the country are not easy to come by. Before the unfortunate sacrifice, he wrote a poem Mingzhi: "Thirty years pass in an instant, the ambition is not rewarded, and the heavens are not rewarded; he does not hesitate to die first, and then frequently comforts the Nine Springs." "The predecessors planted trees, and the posterity cooled down" is our blessing and luck. And "drinking water does not forget to dig wells" and "drinking water and thinking of the source" are our duty. Not forgetting the original intention, keeping in mind the mission, and striving to open up the space and stage for the forward development of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics is the best way for us to remember the revolutionary martyrs and inherit the mission of the original heart today.
Deng Enming's outstanding contributions inspire us: latecomers practice "not forgetting the original heart, keeping the mission in mind", as long as they have firm faith and long-term achievements, they will certainly be able to promote and contribute to the development and progress of the cause of the party and the country. Throughout the ages, those who have achieved great things have not only supernatural talents, but also perseverance. Deng Enming pointed out in "Criticism of Transforming Society", "Since we feel all kinds of pain, China's society must be transformed, but we must do it in a down-to-earth manner. If not, I am afraid that we will not be able to transform society, but will be dominated by an evil society." In the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics, we must dare to take responsibility, dare to sacrifice, be diligent in studying, be good at struggle, be good at unity, and be good at acting.
"The sergeant hears and acts diligently." The centennial journey is magnificent and the national fortune is open, and the original heart of the hundred years has lasted for a long time. Today, we remember the revolutionary martyr Deng Enming and the revolutionary martyr who, like him, made positive contributions to the cause of the Chinese proletarian revolution, with the aim of inheriting his great ambition of daring to sacrifice everything for the lofty ideal of communism, better strengthening the "four self-confidences", always maintaining the original intention, and striding forward along the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics. Adhering to the leadership of the Communist Party of China, uniting as one, and working hard to make progress will certainly be able to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
