When the news came out, the Jiliao border army was suddenly solemn, no longer dared to neglect their duties, and gambling and slacking off military affairs disappeared even more.
Since then, the style and discipline of this army have been renewed, and the combat effectiveness has also increased dramatically. On the stage of the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, this army swept through the battlefields of northeast China, the Central Plains and Yunnan, and was almost invincible for more than half a century.
