Starting from "gradually learning Chinese customs and ignoring the old system of the ancestors", then there is the unfinished path of the child, the self-love for the family, the self-confidence and wisdom, and so on.
But what is strange is that

This is completely out of tune with the proposition of his mother, Empress Xiaozhuang, and inevitably, the contradiction between mother and son is getting deeper and deeper.
Previously, the Shunzhi Emperor's "crazy" act of discussing crimes after the death of Dolgun had already made Xiaozhuang, the mother, feel strange.
However, she still underestimated this wayward son, or she never knew the Shunzhi Emperor,
In particular, the Shunzhi Emperor's resistance to his marriage and his marriage to the Mongolian Borjigit clan made Xiaozhuang completely chill!
It should be known that in the early days of the Qing Dynasty, the imperial relatives and nobles were mostly married to Mongolian tribes, and even Dorgon's own wives and concubines were mostly Mongolian women.

In the altar text, the Shunzhi Emperor praised her for her "brilliant wisdom, self-cultivation, orderly progress and stopping, and the degree of motherly etiquette" the pen is not enough to write,
Sad that I "can't remember everything in mourning", I can't recall everything one by one,
To tell the truth, you can feel the pain of the Shunzhi Emperor's "heart-rending lungs" across the screen.
It is also this sacrifice text that restores for us the harem life of this great Qing favorite concubine Dong Efei - it is simply too tragic.
Who is Princess Dong?
In fact, in the harem of the Shunzhi Emperor, there were four concubines of the Dong E clan:
Imperial Concubine, Concubine Ning, Concubine Duanyi, Concubine Zhen.

Empress Xiaozhuang is not a fierce god, if it is not a loss, why should she whisper and wait like a maid?
To say that Concubine Dong Efei is also very innocent, in the face of the enthusiastic emperor, how can she -
Shunzhi appeared in the imperial palace thirteen years ago, and the Shunzhi Emperor named her "Xianfei", calling her a "Xianfei" for only two months, and she was promoted to "Imperial Noble Concubine" before she gave birth, and jumped to the second seat of the harem.
Not only that, the Shunzhi Emperor also issued a pardon for this purpose that can only be obtained after the book.
But all this is not the meaning of Empress Xiaozhuang, it is the will of the Shunzhi Emperor himself, especially when he subsequently added the "honorific title" to Empress Xiaozhuang, which does not rule out the act of pleasing his mother.
But this wayward emperor would not have thought that his exclusive favor for Dong Efei would instead become Dong E's lifeblood.
Watching the son hate the daughter-in-law selected by his mother-in-law, but overly enthusiastic about another woman,
Don't say that Xiaozhuang is the empress, even an ordinary mother-in-law will be vigilant - is the emperor planning to depose the empress again?
The Shunzhi Emperor thought that Empress Xiaozhuang had not been able to stop the "deposed queen" and "imperial concubines" issues, and that no one could stop him as an emperor.
Soon, he ordered that all the Mongolian characters on the plaques of the Taimiao Temple be dug up! (Mingtai Temple plaque, stop book Mongolian characters, stop book full of Chinese characters.) - "Qing Shi Lu")
All this was seen in the eyes of Empress Xiaozhuang, and she had some plans in her heart, but she did not show her face in front of her son.
The Shunzhi Emperor did not think so, but Concubine Dong E, who lived in the harem all day, was going to suffer.

When the empress dowager was ill, Concubine Dong Efei personally went to serve; when the empress fell ill, Concubine Dong served herself, and did not close her eyes for five days and five nights; even when other concubines were ill, Concubine Dong Efei personally served, and there was no rest for three days and nights...
In the eyes of the Shunzhi Emperor, the imperial concubine was "ironclad", a manifestation of deference and modesty, and the empress dowager was also "good and peaceful" and finally accepted her.
He never thought about how "busy" Dong Efei's life was, constantly circling around in the harem.
He also tried his best to meet him, but he did not study for a long time but achieved "fine calligraphy", and he did not believe in Buddhism but "concentrated on Zen studies", these memories in the altar text,
It undoubtedly overwhelmed the young woman.
Misfortune has finally arrived
In October of the fourteenth year of Shunzhi, the imperial concubine Dong Eshi gave birth to the fourth son of the emperor for the Shunzhi Emperor.
The wayward emperor showed every turn that he wanted to make this little baby crown prince.
At this juncture, the empress dowager, who had spent the winter in the Royal South Garden, suddenly fell ill and ordered all the concubines to go to serve the sick——
Including the imperial concubine Dong Eshi, who is still in confinement!
The intention of this is self-evident, Dong E's tired and running in the month does not say, not more than two months,
The fourth son of the Emperor also passed away silently.
Interestingly, as the empress dowager's niece and granddaughter, she never went to Nanyuan to serve the sick,
Afterwards, Xiaozhuang only punished her for not allowing her to come to Cining Palace again...
It seems that Dong Efei was "secretly calculated".
The enraged Shunzhi Emperor then spewed his anger at the empress, accusing her of "neglecting etiquette", temporarily stopping the Zhonggong notes and other items, and preparing to abolish the empress again.
But Concubine Dong could not stand the emperor's torment, and she could only strongly dissuade the Shunzhi Emperor from deposing the empress.
Kan Kancai gained a hint of favor from the Empress,
Unfortunately, in the seventeenth year of Shunzhi, Dong Efei, who had overstretched her life, completed her miserable life at the age of twenty-two.
However, Princess Dong'efei was dead, and Empress Xiaozhuang was "hard to dispel her old hatred."
Because of his wayward son, he made another shocking move!

The death of Concubine Dong caused a huge blow to the Shunzhi Emperor, and this son of heaven, whose temperament was originally impulsive, became increasingly insane in his behavior.
Ignoring Princess Dong's last wishes for a thin burial, the Shunzhi Emperor not only insisted on posthumously appointing Concubine Dong as Empress Xiaoxian.
He also stopped for five days, ordered the whole country to guard the funeral, and forced the Two and Three Heavy Ministers of the Eight Banners of Manchuria to carry the coffin for her (even the empress did not have this treatment),
It was ordered that all the women in the DPRK and China must weep and mourn, or they would be guilty.
In addition, the sacrifice text says that after The death of Concubine Dong, "the people in the palace were very sad, and several people wanted to be martyred".

How could Empress Xiaozhuang turn a blind eye?
"Now that the dynasty has collapsed, and after escaping from this, can it be foreseen one by one?" Those who have lost their hearts to the appointment. As for this, the five are destroyed, and the benefits cannot but be hurt. ”
The Shunzhi Emperor, who was overly sad, also died four months after Dong Efei's death.
Concubine Dong's clan sister Zhenfei,
This 19-year-old girl, in place of her sister, endured the final punishment and then "died from martyrdom".
After his death, he was posthumously honored as a "virgin concubine", but he was buried in the graveyard of an ordinary concubine, and did not receive any preferential treatment.
