During the Mid-Autumn Festival, the autumn breeze blows on the face, on the banks of the Huangpu River, the "Terrace Star Space" of Shanghai Children's Art Theater (SAIC Roewe Children's Cultural Center) opened its first performance. On the outdoor terrace of the theater, large and small audiences sat around the performers and listened to a "Hello! Chinese Music - Mid-Autumn Festival Concert" Violin, piano and percussion instruments play different styles of music, and the sound of boat whistles on the Huangpu River in the distance.
During the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, shanghai children's art theater launched the "Listen, the moon is singing" series of concerts, and for the first time used the "terrace star space", the theater used the terrace space, moved the stage to the roof, becoming another new space for performing arts in Shanghai.
The performance began with a song "Libertango", followed by a number of moon-related songs such as "Moon River", "Fly Me To The Moon", "Moonlight Serenade" and so on, including "Flower Good Moon Full Moon", "Caiyun Chasing the Moon" and other Chinese classic folk music, and the music sound formed an interesting reflection with a round of bright moon in the sky. Enjoying the concert under the stars and river breeze on an autumn night has become an unforgettable feeling for many audiences.
During the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, the theater held a "Mid-Autumn Festival Garden Party" in the theater hall at the same time, where the audience can experience the Mid-Autumn Festival elements and participate in it - guessing lantern riddles, handmade rabbit lamps, changing into "little fairy clothes" punch card to take photos, each art experience has attracted many children.
As the largest children's theater in China, Shanghai Children's Art Theater has been committed to exploring new formats and new models. Shen Li, general manager of the theater, introduced that the "Terrace Star Space" series is the redevelopment and re-creation of the venue by the Shanghai Children's Art Theater, hoping to form a new artistic experience through the interweaving of the environment and performance, and also to make the rich form of "performance + N" empower the theater and bring new vitality. In the future, "Terrace Star Space" will also plan and launch a series of performances.
