The founder of The Dance of Destiny was Irish composer and musician Mike Durken. The original storyline of the dance drama is to tell the story of three brothers who are destroyed in the village and then leave their hometowns. Due to the overly complex storyline, the dance drama was re-adapted by choreographer Richard Griffin and composer Clon O.Fuhu into a love story between two young lovers.
