One year Chinese New Year's Eve night, the rich man and his wife were in the room discussing the need to change hands. The head chef was angry at the boss's ruthless righteousness, on the eve of leaving the store, secretly mixed the curd milk, wine, garlic and other materials in the kitchen into the pie filling in the vat, the boss could not bear to throw away this thing, made it into another kind of cake, raw cake embossed on the baking oven, there was a strange fragrance wafted out. The cake had just been listed, and the smell made customers drool, and they were quickly sold out. Since then, various bakeries have competed to make this kind of cake, and each has shown its strengths. The curd cake also got its name and became a traditional pastry loved by everyone in Teochew.
