3. Characteristics of being a servant of the Lord

When Jesus healed many and told them not to preach His name, Matthew isaiah's words, "Say, 'Behold! My servant, whom I have chosen, whom I have chosen, whom dearly loved, and whom I have pleased in my heart, I will give him my Spirit, and he will pass on his righteousness to the Gentiles. He did not compete, did not clamor; no one in the street heard his voice. He does not break the crushed reeds; he does not blow out the broken lamps; and he does not blow out the broken lights; and when he applies the axioms, he may triumph. The Gentiles all looked up to his name. This quote comes from Isaiah 42:1-4 "Behold, my servant, whom I have upheld, whom I have chosen, whose heart rejoices, whom I have given my Spirit to him (1), who will pass on his righteousness to the Gentiles." (2) He does not make noise, does not raise his voice, and does not make his voice heard in the street. (3) The crushed reed, he does not break. Will be a remnant of the lamp, he does not blow out. He spread the axioms in truth. He was not discouraged or discouraged until he established justice on earth. The islands were waiting for his teachings. ”

What is the usual interpretation of this passage? According to the Messianic verse (1), it is the Messiah who has chosen to rejoice, and the servant represented by the Messiah is to recognize "axiom" (2), that is, to be justified in the law, to correct all improper teachings, and to pass on such axiom to the Gentiles. The Messiah was low-key and unassuming(3), and he treated people with all his softness. Instead of breaking and extinguishing them, He will lead them to victory, for in Him they will find justice.
