Matthew 11:28

Mt 11:28 Everyone who has toiled and burdened may come to Me, and I will give you rest.

Will God determine our worth based on how busy we are? Will He estimate our worth by looking at the size of our achievements? Will He reward us for our exhaustion and physical exhaustion? Followers of Christ do not need to live in this way. For Jesus not only frees us from our sins, but also frees us from the bondage of proving our worth. Accomplishing more for God may make us feel our own importance, but our real importance before God is to let God do His work in us, to make us more and more like His only begotten Son.

Rom 8:28,30 We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God, those who are called according to his will. For he who knew foreground predetermined the imitation of his son, and made him the firstborn among many brethren. And the predetermined ones called them again, and those who were called called them righteous, and those who were called righteous called them glorified.

The Lord did not ask me to carry a burden to rest before His feet, expecting the Lord to do holy work and fully offer His remembrance. Our worth is not what the Lord has done, but what He has accomplished in us.
