According to Italian journalist Rudi Galetti, Mourinho hopes that Roma can bring in Diego Carlos for himself.
Since taking office, Mourinho has met with Roma executives and exchanged some of his thoughts in the transfer market. In the backline, Mourinho wants Roma to sign Sevilla defender Diego Carlos for him.
Sevilla's bid for Diego Carlos is around 50 million euros, but Roma do not want to make an offer of more than 30 million euros for him at the moment. Despite the large disagreement over the transfer fee, Roma are still trying to sign him.
Diego Carlos, 28, is from Brazil and made 46 appearances for Sevilla in the 20-21 season, including 45 starts and scoring 1 goal.
