On the front line of nucleic acid testing, young volunteers are in action!
Recently, there have been confirmed cases of new crown pneumonia in Chongqing, and nucleic acid testing has been carried out in Banan District, Jiulongpo District and other places. In the front line of testing, in addition to medical staff, there are also a group of young volunteers for epidemic prevention, who are responsible for the nucleic acid testing points of their respective services, helping medical staff and maintaining on-site order... From early morning to night, from night to day.
"Thank you for protecting my family..."
She cried when she received the heart-warming text message
"I'm out of town and can't go back... You can't guard your own home, your own family, your own children, thank you for guarding your family for us...".
At 11:00 p.m. on November 2, Luo Xue, 29, had been volunteering for nearly 12 hours at the nucleic acid testing site of the Outer Sky Dam at Luneng Kindergarten in Banan District. She and her companions recorded about 20,000 data as quickly as possible, and successfully completed the day's volunteer service work.
When she took off her protective clothing, she found that there were many unread messages in her mobile phone, including a message of "thank you for protecting our family for us", which made Luo Xue instantly "break the defense" and cry.
She is a regular volunteer and has experienced a lot of things. She has participated in the volunteer service work of garbage sorting persuasion, washed clothes and cut nails for the elderly in the nursing home, and picked up garbage by the river to protect the green water and green mountains...
But she had never cried, so this time, why did she cry?
"On the same day, I saw that the volunteer service group was recruiting young volunteers for epidemic prevention, and the situation was urgent and there was a shortage of manpower, so I immediately decided to go to the front line of nucleic acid testing." Luo Xue said that because he was in too much of a hurry, no one in the family knew. When you get to the scene, tell them.
Since Luo Xue's husband and sister are doctors, they can understand Luo Xue and support her. But some people know about it, but they can't understand it, thinking that Luo Xue's going to the front line will bring them potential risks.
"When I knew it, I didn't have the heart to take care of these things, the epidemic was an order, busy, I couldn't even feel afraid, I just knew that I had to record the data as quickly as possible." After a day of high-intensity volunteer work, Luo Xue pulled out her mobile phone and saw a lot of information, the elderly and two-year-old children at home, waiting for her to go back.
When she looked through the information, Luo Xue's brain was a little confused, and she remembered that someone didn't understand her... There was a sense of loss in her heart, but when she saw the words "Thank you for protecting our family for us", Luo Xue suddenly couldn't help but cry.
For a moment, she felt that everything she had done was worth it.
"On the front line, I saw the medical staff, staff, etc. on the scene, from morning to night, who were very patient to complete their work. Some even teach the elderly, how to open the itinerary code and so on. Luo Xue said that in the critical moment, someone must always come forward, she has done everything without shame, and she will do her best to do volunteer service work in the future!
Put on a protective suit for the first time
Secretly go to the front line of nucleic acid testing without his family
"Please prepare your ID card and Yukang code in advance and keep a distance of one meter..."
Yu Xueying, 28 years old this year, is wearing protective clothing for the first time, she originally lived in the tea garden of The South Bank District, and was busy with interviews recently, but after the outbreak of the epidemic, she saw that the Youth League Committee of Banan District was recruiting young volunteers for epidemic prevention, so she signed up for the first time and rushed to the nucleic acid testing point of the People's Square in Banan District.
Yu Xueying did not dare to tell her family, for fear that her family would be worried. She came to the scene for the first time, became the first volunteer to arrive at the post, and put on the airtight protective clothing for the first time, and began volunteer service work for half a day from 12 noon to 12 pm.
During this period, she should drink as little water as possible, and it is inconvenient to wear protective clothing to go to the toilet. There are many people testing, and there are ways to rest, and they can only persist silently.
"Because there are confirmed cases near the nucleic acid testing site where I am located, it is quite special, so there are many people tested on the day. The work done by our volunteers is to cooperate with the medical staff, maintain order on the spot, guide the way, explain to the citizens who come to the test how to show the Yukang code, and ask them to maintain a safe distance of more than one meter," Said Yu Xueying, who stood from morning to night, especially after dark, there was some physical weakness. But seeing that the medical staff are sticking to it, I also picked up my spirits and hoped to complete the nucleic acid test for the citizens as soon as possible.
With the cooperation of medical staff and young volunteers, they conducted nucleic acid tests for about 7,000 citizens in half a day. Although it is hard work, there is still a feeling that remains in the heart.
"There is a restaurant called 'Soup Dumplings' near the testing point, and the owner of the restaurant saw that we were very hard, so he prepared buns, porridge and other food for us for free, and said a lot of warm words to encourage us," Said Yu Xueying, whose family knew that she went to the front line as a volunteer, was very supportive of her and was proud of her.
Next, Yu Xueying will also be on standby at any time, and she will go wherever she needs it!
