At that time, the Beijing Peking Opera Troupe rehearsed modern plays mainly by Tan Yuanshou, Ma Changli, Hao Qinghai, Xiao Wang Yurong, and Li Yufang, who were rehearsing modern plays, and Ma Tan ZhangQiu did not participate. Once Tan Fuying also wanted to create a minor role in the modern drama of the "small group", the idea was very good, but was discouraged, because the actors of the "small group" were worried that the participation of the "big names" in the group would disturb the drama starring young actors.
Compared with the two, the new plays arranged by the China Peking Opera House are much more popular than the new plays of the Beijing Peking Opera Troupe.
