"Only if you treat the patient as a relative, he will treat you as a benefactor, and only by exchanging heart for heart can you warm your heart with your heart", Liu Yongsheng, a rural doctor in Tongguan County, Weinan City, Shaanxi Province, has been saying this and doing this since he was a doctor in 1976.
As a rural doctor, Liu Yongsheng regards "caring for others and helping others" as the greatest joy in life, and has created a set of convenient and fast, small pain, and low cost treatment of common diseases in rural areas, and a combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine diagnosis and treatment methods with frequent diseases, and has received 100,000 patients, visited nearly 10,000 times, and traveled through 80 surrounding villages and 20 villages in neighboring provinces, which is affectionately known as "the guardian spirit around the masses" by the local people.
Work tirelessly for that sacred mission
"From 2002 to now, in 17 years, four serious illness treatments, if there is no dr. Liu does not want to return the help, I am afraid that I will report to the King of Yan earlier, Dr. Liu is really a very good person." When liu Yongsheng was mentioned, Deng Chaogang, a villager in the deserted village, was always very grateful.
Deng Chaogang first fell ill in 2002, when he was accidentally cut to the back by a chainsaw due to an accident, and his tailbone was broken and he was seriously injured. After the operation in the hospital, only 1.2 meters of the small intestine was left, and due to the damage to the peripheral nerves, the sphincter was relaxed, resulting in a loss of control of the stool, followed by a colostomy. It cost more than 80,000 yuan to see a doctor before and after, of which 70,000 yuan was raised from relatives and friends. After Liu Yongsheng learned about it, he insisted on taking time to go to Deng Chaogang's house every day to change his medicine for free treatment, twice a day without interruption, and it lasted for 46 days before Deng Chaogang fully recovered.
In 2008, Deng Chaogang suffered from systemic dermatitis again, Liu Yongsheng first prescribed him internal Chinese medicine according to the disease, and then mixed with external Chinese medicine water, washed the affected area every day, and cured Deng Chaogang's dermatitis for more than a month.
In 2010, Deng Chaogang suddenly could not stand up, and after being taken to the hospital by the villagers, he was diagnosed with cervical spondylosis. When the doctor told him that it would cost 160,000 yuan to treat the disease, Deng Chaogang, who was living in poverty, found Liu Yongsheng again under the impatience. After Liu Yongsheng understood the condition, he prescribed the right medicine, insisted on traditional Chinese medicine treatment, and combined with the massage and cupping techniques he learned, effectively alleviated Deng Chaogang's condition.
In October 2012, Deng Chaogang suddenly felt unbearable stomach pain, immediately fainted, was diagnosed with pancreatitis after examination, and was discharged after 14 days of hospitalization due to medical expenses. After 40 days of relapse, Liu Yongsheng rushed to contact experts to help Deng Chaogang diagnose, and was finally diagnosed with a pancreatic cyst. Considering the patient's family economic situation, Liu Yongsheng also helped Deng Chaogang contact Xi'an Yellow River Hospital at his own expense, and paid for all the costs of pancreatic cyst drainage, and after 14 days of hospitalization, Deng Chaogang was discharged home after recovering.

Not afraid of hardships, only for the feelings of the people
"Yongyong, I am Song Maolin of Sijiaoying Village, your sister-in-law got up in the morning and spat white foam, and she couldn't wake up, so you hurry up." The sky was just dark, the mobile phone suddenly rang, and Song Maolin's anxious voice came from the other end of the phone. Hearing the phone, Liu Yongsheng got up, picked up the medicine box, and rushed to Song Maolin's house. As soon as I entered the door, I saw Song Maolin's old partner Yao Yinhua lying on the bed, unconscious. Judging from experience, this is a sudden cerebral infarction and must be rushed to the county hospital. But there were only two old people in the family, the situation was critical, Liu Yongsheng did not think much, quickly contacted the vehicle to send the old man to the county hospital, and paid all the expenses.
"Brother, you see my sister-in-law first, and I'll talk about everything else later." Why don't you call me?" Arranging the hospitalization matters well, Liu Yongsheng was still constantly telling Song Maolin when he left.
After 13 days of hospitalization, Yao Yinhua's condition has not improved, and in the face of daily medical bills like flowing water, Song Maolin is anxious to turn around. There was no way but to call Liu Yongsheng again.
"Brother, it doesn't matter, it really can't work, we'll come back, and when we come back, I'll show it to my sister-in-law." Liu Yongsheng's words made Song Maolin relax. After being discharged from the hospital, Liu Yongsheng continued to treat Yao Yinhua using traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture therapy. Five days later, Yao Yinhua's condition improved and she was able to sit up slowly. After 70 days, although the right half of the body could not move, under the support of Song Maolin, Yao Yinhua was able to walk back and forth in the courtyard. In order to make the patient recover as soon as possible, Liu Yongsheng prescribed another medicine, and after Song Maolin ran all over the county town pharmacies to buy fruitlessly, he called his son Liu Bo to drive Song Maolin to Yuling, Henan to buy the medicine back.
Remembering the whole process of his wife's treatment, Song Maolin could not hide his tears of excitement and said: "Yongyong, if it were not for you, I would not have had your sister-in-law!" ”
Don't ask for anything in return, just for that broad mind
In the winter of 1988, the villager Xie Shuangxi and the three brothers made fireworks at home and caused an explosion, resulting in the permanent disability of one hand of Xie Laosan, the blindness of Xie Laosan's eyes, and the second xie Shuangxi was the only one who was not injured. For a while, the three brothers couldn't even eat hot food. Looking at such a family, Liu Yongsheng was very anxious in his heart, he first treated the boss, and then took the old third to Xi'an and Zhengzhou to seek eye treatment, and all the expenses for medical treatment were paid by himself.
In order to let the three xie brothers have a legitimate source of livelihood, Liu Yongsheng began to help them contract orchards and beaches to improve their lives. In 1991, Liu Yongsheng introduced Xie Shuangxi to the object, but after the girls learned about the situation in his family, none of them agreed. After talking about 21 girls in a row, I didn't succeed, and I had an eyebrow when I reached the 22nd girl. Who knew that when the girl went to the Xie family to see, there was no decent house, and she fought and retreated. Liu Yongsheng, who was in a hurry, gave up his house to Xie Shuangxi for his family. After Xie Shuangxi became a family, Liu Yongsheng thought of making them rich as soon as possible, and then paid money to buy Xie Shuangxi a farm truck for transportation.
However, good luck did not favor Liu Yongsheng and Xie Shuangxi. On the eighth day of the third month of the lunar calendar in 1992, Xie Shuangxi drove a farm truck to the county town to run errands, and on the way back, he met Liu Yongsheng's father and took him back, and the car had a car accident on the halfway road, and Liu Yongsheng's father unfortunately died. When he learned that his family had sued Xie Shuangxi to the court, in the face of the deceased and the living, family affection and nostalgia, Liu Yongsheng chose to forgive after several days and nights of ideological struggle. He knelt in front of his family and said with tears in his eyes: "My father is no longer there, but Shuangxi is still young, spare him." If you fight a lawsuit, you will ruin Shuangxi's life! As soon as the Xie family is all over! ”。
After many years of working experience in medicine, Liu Yongsheng has developed the habit of often going through the medical record files, and has a thick "health account book" in his heart, who is a chronic disease patient of the elderly, who is a patient with severe terminal illness, which can be said to be "door clear". In addition to the daily reception and consultation, Liu Yongsheng will also take time to visit the door, chat with patients, give them relief, and guard the neighbors. Inspired by Liu Yongsheng's deeds, more than 800 medical workers in Tongguan County have established the "Liu Yongsheng Volunteer Service Team", which has been active in volunteer service activities in communities and villages in the county for a long time, carrying out volunteer service activities 163 times and serving more than 70,000 people.
