Recently, the Border Police Station of Heihe Island of the Heihe Border Management Detachment of Heilongjiang Province received an alarm from the masses that an owl cub was found falling to the ground in the sleeping base of the Heihe Waterway Bureau. After receiving the alarm, the police at the police station immediately rushed to the scene. After communicating with the relevant departments, the police loaded the owl into a cage and sent it to the wildlife rescue station of the Heihe Nature Reserve Service Center in time.
After identification, this gray owl, scientific name eagle owl, is a national second-class protected animal. It is a nocturnal bird of prey with a strong and hooked beak and large and sharp claws.
In order to let it grow normally at the aid station, the staff also feeds it, and when it slowly exercises its survivability, it will be released back into nature.
