In our usual description of spatial dimensions, zero-dimensional space is a point that tends to zero infinitely; one-dimensional space is an infinite superposition of zero-dimensional space, a line that never closes; two-dimensional space is an addition of dimensions to one-dimensional space, which is a surface without boundaries. The three-dimensional space we can see is superimposed from two-dimensional space, which is actually a three-dimensional object of infinite length, width and height.
Multidimensional spaces are constantly superimposed from the previous level of space. The limit of human understanding is the three-dimensional space in which humans can survive now. Einstein once made the assumption that four-dimensional space adds the dimension of time to the current three-dimensional space. When the object moves fast enough, we cannot detect the existence of the object, perhaps this is the state of entering another dimensional space, the essence of which is that the dimension controlled by time plays a role.
If we assume that there is a corresponding life in the space of each dimension, then the range of activities of the life that survives in which dimension will not exceed the dimensional space in which it lives. The spatial dimension it can perceive will only be the space below the level of the spatial dimension in which it lives.
Just like humans, we live in three-dimensional space, perceiving the external world through our senses such as our eyes, ears, and nose. However, what our eyes can see is only the surface of the object, and what we touch and collide with is also the surface of the object. Faces, on the other hand, have only two dimensions and are two-dimensional. Therefore, what human beings can perceive is only a space lower than their own living space.
The two-dimensional world is just a surface, and it is difficult to imagine that the two-dimensional world can still exist organisms. For since it is called a "body," it must be at least three-dimensional. Two-dimensional space is not strictly a space. For higher dimensional spaces, for example, three dimensions, thinking, whether there is a living body, there is no answer. Even the great gods of physics, Einstein, and Hawking could not imagine what multidimensional space looked like, let alone living organisms.
Theories about multidimensional space are based on imagination and hypothesis, which, like cosmic space, have no boundaries. Klein bottles that cannot be made in three-dimensional space may be realized in four-dimensional space. If a two-dimensional surface is superimposed by lines (strings) that tend to be infinitely thin, it can be said that the two-dimensional surface tends to be transparent.
It's like when we look at a two-dimensional image, the two-dimensional image is almost transparent in our minds; so is it also transparent for intelligent life in four-dimensional space (if there is one) to observe three-dimensional space? Like the parallel universes in the original hypothesis, we are just transparent people in another space.
Some people say that the universe has eleven dimensions, and some people say that there are nineteen dimensions. All these claims are nothing more than attempts to explain the world with their theories, but unfortunately none of these theories are reliable. Because the more you explain these theories, the more confusing it is. Moreover, most of them are also their imaginations, but it is more convincing to see who forms the logical closed loop.
Albert Einstein once said that the most incomprehensible thing about the world is that the world is understandable. Perhaps these people who try to understand the world are the most difficult to understand.
